Asia’s Education Award 2019 was conferred to the University in Asia’s Best Private Technical University Category from India Region by International Brand Consulting Corporation, USA.

Workshop on Culinary Dum ka Dum a master class organised by US Poultry and Egg Export Council along with United Soyabean Board & IIIHM ( the hotel management school of UEMK) on 10th May 2021 was a very enriching session with the renowned Chef Ajay Chopra. The 2.5 hrs of the session discussed about the popular dum style cooking, its origin and how Turkey and duck can be incorporated in the Indian Style of cooking. Students from BHM department of UEM were encouraged to participate and they learn new things enlightened their knowledge from this workshop.

Dr Tanay Pramanik, Professor of Basic science and Humanities Department, UEM Kolkata was awarded with National Education Brilliance Award 2021 for being selected as Top 10 Best Chemistry Faculty of the year.

CS Department of UEMK organises a Panel Discussion Event on the topic " Workplace Expectations and Experiences in the corporate world from a Fresher's point of view" . The group of Panelists are young corporate employees, who can share their expectations and experiences in their respective workplaces.
