International Conference on Advances in Economics & Financial Research 2021, [ICAEFR 2021] was organized by the Business Administration Department of UEM, Kolkata on 9th & 10th April 2021

On 8th April 2021, the P.G. students of Zoology Department from Srirampur College visited the labs of Department of Biotechnology on virtual mode. They were demonstrated with various instrumentations that are available to the departmental Lab  

Alumni network is one major resource students can use for getting information. Therefore Department of Electrical Engineering of UEM, Kolkata arranged an Alumni Talk by Mr. Rajdeep Roy, Assistant System Engineer, TCS on 30.03.2021. He discussed about the Future Scope of Electrical Engineers with our 2nd and 3rd year students.

The main reasons for calibration are to ensure the reliability of the instrument, that it can be trusted. It is required to determine the accuracy of the instrument and to ensure the readings are consistent with other measurements. Therefore, Department of Electrical Engineering of UEM, Kolkata has taken the initiative to conduct a Virtual Industrial Tour on CALIBRATION OF INSTRUMENTS for 3rd Year EE students on 26.03.2021 from 01:00 pm to 02:00 pm.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering had organized a departmental Poster Competition, to be held on 1st April 2021. Please follow the information related to that Departmental Poster Competition: Departmental Poster Competition to be held on 1st April 2021 from 4:15PM - 5:15PM. 2nd year and 3rd year CS students are participating on the competition. The poster must be on any technical topic. It will be conducted through online mode. Google meet platform will be used for the presentation of the posters. Attendance link during the poster competition will be circulated during the google meet chat box. Every student will get a participation certificate after completion of the competition. 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holder group will get a special certificate after completion of the competition.
