UEM Innovation lab is back in action after the pandemic, with the budding innovators doing path breaking research & development.

Prof. Sukanya Roy, Assistant Professor, University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, successfully completed the training on “Design Thinking and Innovation” as a part of IIC Innovation Ambassador Training Series and received the certificate for being selected as an Ambassador for UEMK IIC Innovation Cell.

Institution Innovation Council (IIC) was established at University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata on successful completion of various activities as prescribed by the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, an initiative of the Government of India to promote innovations and start-ups within Campus.

Department of Computer Science of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata is going to organize a departmental Research Project Competition on 9th April 2021 from 4 PM to 5 PM. This event will provide a platform to the students for showcasing various Software and Hardware-based Projects. Participants will get an opportunity to demonstrate their projects live and grab exciting prizes.

Machine learning and electrical engineering professionals leverage AI to build and optimize systems and also provide AI technology with new data inputs for interpretation.With that in context, Department of Electrical Engineering of UEM, Kolkata had arranged a Technical Workshop on 21st February, 2021 on Machine Learning using Python in collaboration with ARDENT Computech Pvt. Ltd. to upgrade the knowledge and technical skills of the students from 2nd, 3rd and 4th year.
