POLICY GUIDELINES FOR STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMME

IEM/UEM –Study Abroad Programme (SAP) is conducted for a global exposure to students of various disciplines. This programme has been engineered to give an experiential learning platform to the students of IEM-UEM Group. The students will get hands-on experience of gaining knowledge of foreign culture, industry and economic dynamics. It will provide the students with an opportunity to interact with foreign faculty, foreign corporate, foreign certifications and carry out live projects.

•       Special Certification modules delivered by the Industry experts and Leading foreign faculty

•       Industry/Lab/University Visits

•       Extensive Live Project Reports

•       Excellent exposure, cross cultural orientation & sensitization on the foreign economies, societies.

•       Familiarization with industry dynamics and trends on a global scale

 

Benefits of SAP/3C is Foreign Certification & credit transfer.

Academic Model, Curriculum, Evaluation and Examination

Selection criteria: 

    1. Selection on basis of attendance among applicants,
    2. Good Academic Record and
    3. Past and present feedback. 

Exclusions

The fee does not include Air Tickets (SINGAPORE, USA, CANADA, UK, AUSTRALIA), Visa Fees, Meals Charges, Medical Insurance charges, Local Bus and Train Travel tickets, Phone Sim cards, Charger plugs, or any other out of pocket expenditure which may be borne by the students.

POLICY GUIDELINES FOR 3 CONTINENT PROGRAMME (3C)

IEM/UEM –3 Continent Programme (3C) is conducted for a global exposure to students of various disciplines. This programme has been engineered to give an experiential learning platform to the students of IEM-UEM Group. The students will get hands-on experience of gaining knowledge of foreign culture, industry and economic dynamics. It will provide the students with an opportunity to interact in upto 3 Continents with foreign faculty, foreign corporates, foreign certifications and carry out live projects and carry out remote/virtual foreign internship. The choice of upto three continents will vary depending on student’s choice and visa approval. Latest industry Masters Certification in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IOT, Big Data Analytics.

MoUs with Foreign Universities

  1. BRUNEL UNIVERSITY, LONDON:
    A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been duly signed between University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata and Brunel University, London on Academic and Research Collaboration on 1st August, 2017. The MOU is intended to promote cooperation and advancement of international understanding between Brunel University, London and University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata to their mutual benefit
  2. UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, LAS VEGAS, USA:
    A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been duly signed between University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata and University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Academic and Research Collaboration. The MOU is intended to promote co-operation and advancement of international understanding between University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata to their mutual benefit. The Objectives of the MOU are:
    • Joint Research Activities
    • Student and faculty exchange Program
    • Knowledge exchange and transfer
  3. ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY, USA:
    MOU has been signed on 12th March,2022 between St Louis University, US and University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata for one year MBA program.
