Achievements of ECE Department

Funds received:

1. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) MTTS has given grant to Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering to conduct research activities, seminars, conferences, and MTTS club activities.
2. Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) has given grant to Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering to conduct research activities, seminars, conferences, and IETE student forum activities.

Organization of Seminars, Distinguished Speaker Program, Workshops:

The major strategy of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is to promote INDUSTRY-ACADEMIA partnership in the engineering education. To provide opportunities to researchers, academicians, and students to exchange views and opinions with the Industry experts, address and debate research questions on relevant issues and generate academic research output on cutting edge technology issues, the department frequently organizes workshops, seminars, international conferences, distinguished talks as follows:

Alumni of Department of ECE:

It is our alumni whose significant contribution to the society has made our department of glory. Being a part of this glorious Institute, it becomes one of our prime duties to instill the essence of brotherhood into the minds of the alumni and their siblings from Alma-mater. The department has established Alumni Interaction (AI) Cell. We are under the endorsement of the Dean (Alumni Affairs). Having completely dedicated to nurturing the bond between students and alumni, the AI Cell is acting as a common platform for networking and interaction. We extend our hands towards our alumni and help them reconnect to their Alma-mater. Through regular interactions with the students, the alumni get a chance to share their valuable experiences and impart the knowledge they have acquired to the next generation of UEMIANs. The research and development laboratory of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is focused on the selected emerging topics like Internet of Things (IoT), wireless sensor networks, smart systems, and many more.
