- 45% marks in aggregate of these 3 compulsory subjects in class 12 board exams

- Shall not have year gap of more than 2 years throughout career till engineering admissions (Sitting idle for a year or being engaged in a course leading to no degree or certificate would mean year gap of 1 year)

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has faculty members with stellar academic background as well as industry exposure. They contribute to the research eco-system of the university by assisting and collaborating with the faculty members regularly. The department conducts one B. Tech Programme in Electronics & Communication Engineering and two post graduate program M.Tech. in Microelectronics & VLSI and M.tech in Communication Engineering.

The department boasts of sophisticated Electronics and Communication Engineering Laboratories such as Microwave and Antenna, Communication Engineering, Advanced Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Microprocessor, Analog & Digital Electronics Laboratory. All of the laboratories are furnished with up to date state of the art instruments and tools. The department also has software like Matlab, Xilinx, HFSS etc for carrying out advanced level research work.
