In today’s world, education has become one of the most essential and expensive assets. Most high school pass outs look for financial assistance to pursue the career of their dreams that requires several years of education. In such a scenario, scholarships come up as the most desired form of financial aid. This is because, unlike educational loans, you don’t have to repay scholarships. If you are a deserving student, you can get scholarships on merit basis. This makes scholarships prestigious and also pays for your degree. Scholarships are limited. The mentioned percentages are the only eligibility to apply for the scholarship. Candidates securing above percentages are required to fill the UEM Scholarship Application form. In the absence of relevant mark sheets, direct admission and scholarship application will not be considered. The final decision of granting scholarship is with the Scholarship Committee. The scholarship is granted on a semester basis and continuation in second and further semesters of the program is subject to scholarship policy. To continue availing 100% scholarship, a student must secure a position in the top 5% of the merit list of the program. For continuation of 50% and 25% scholarship, a student will have to secure a position in the top 10% of the merit list of the subsequent semester.
If a student is eligible for more than one scholarship, any one of the scholarships as per his or her choice will be awarded.
The eligible scholarship is not a discount, so the scholarship will not be adjusted with the tuition fees. The scholarship will be separately granted at a scholarship distribution ceremony every semester.
