Essential Studies For Professionals for IAS,WBCS,GATE etc. in UEM Kolkata

We have introduced a special paper named ‘General Studies Course’ (GSC) to
train our students to crack various competitive exams in Government sector. This
paper consists of two modules i.e. Essential Studies for Professionals (ESP) &
Skill Development for Professionals (SDP). It has been incorporated in our regular
curriculum not only to increase employability quotient of our students but also to
expand their career opportunities. The ESP module not only deals with General
Studies syllabus of UPSC Civil Service (IAS, IPS etc.) exam but also deals with
syllabus of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for all streams under
UEM Kolkata. The SDP module includes Verbal English, Quantitative aptitude,
Logical reasoning & “C” Programming language which are an essential part of
aptitude test for Placement of various organizations as well as different competitive
exams like CAT,GRE, SBI PO, SSC(CGL),IBPS PO etc.
A panel of experts from different professional fields takes classes to prepare our
students for those exams. Our sole endeavour is to support our students in building
their career not only in their respective fields but also in achieving laurels in
whatever career opportunities they coin in future.
