The session marked the culmination of an insightful and enriching journey for the participating faculty members. The event began with participants enthusiastically sharing their experiences and key takeaways from the program. Their reflections highlighted the profound impact of the FDP in deepening their understanding of universal human values and their significance in academia. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, who emphasized the importance of fostering brotherhood and harmony in society. Drawing inspiration from visionaries like Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Swami Vivekananda, he underscored the timeless principles of compassion, service, and ethical living that form the foundation of universal human values. The session also featured the felicitation of esteemed resource persons, including: Dr. Piush Sharma Dr. B.K. Sharma Dr. Alka Swami (Observer) Dr. B.K. Sharma, one of the resource persons, delivered the concluding remarks, commending UEM Jaipur’s commitment to promoting value-based education through such initiatives. The Vote of Thanks was presented by Prof. Dipta Mukherjee, who expressed gratitude to all contributors and participants for making the FDP a success. The event was further honored by the presence of: Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean – Academics and Foreign Relations A total of 65 faculty members from various institutions actively participated, demonstrating their dedication to integrating universal human values into their teaching practices. Interactive Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at UEM Jaipur The Institution Innovation Council (IIC, UEM Jaipur) and the Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development Center (IIEDC, UEM Jaipur), in collaboration with MSME, Government of India, proudly organized an engaging Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across BBA, MBA, and B.Tech programs, who gained valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey. Many students were inspired to consider launching their own start-ups, and some took the opportunity to consult with resource persons regarding loan facilities available through banking institutions. This initiative reflects UEM Jaipur’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students, aligning with the university's vision of nurturing future leaders and changemakers. This visit was a significant milestone in our ongoing industry-academia partnership with SAS, designed to connect classroom learning with real-world applications in the dynamic field of Data Analytics. During the visit, students had the unique opportunity to attend multiple keynote sessions led by SAS experts, covering: Hands-on tools and technologies Real-world case studies and insights Advanced topics in analytics and business intelligence The students were guided and mentored throughout the visit by our esteemed faculty members, Prof. Jyoti Anand and Prof. Soumya Sen. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur was honoured to host the inspection team from GHRDC (Global Human Resource Development Centre)—a prestigious ranking body for BCA, MCA, and Engineering programs. The expert panel from GHRDC comprised: • Ms. Mekhla Sinha • Ms. Aradhana The day began with a Central Presentation, where our respected Registrar Sir elaborated on key institutional strengths such as internship opportunities, startup culture, national rankings, patents filed, IIC activities, impactful publications, and funding achievements. Following the presentation, the GHRDC team visited the key academic facilities across both Academic Block 1 (Engineering Departments) and Academic Block 2 (BCA & MCA Departments), exploring state-of-the-art facilities like the GSS Lab, Solar Lab, Mechanical Workshop, Central Library, Innovation Lab, IoT Lab, and Antenna Lab. Each Head of Department proudly showcased their department’s highlights—from hands-on industrial training and notable publications to strong alumni networks and multiple placement offers. The GHRDC panel expressed appreciation for the sincere efforts of our faculty, the collaborative spirit of the departments, and the continuous support from the university management in fostering academic and professional excellence. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur was honored to be invited to the prestigious Two-Day Workshop on the “National IP Yatra Program”, organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, held on March 28–29, 2025, at Hotel Shakun, Jaipur. The workshop focused on “Intellectual Property Rights: Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Geographical Indications,” and brought together key stakeholders to foster awareness and understanding of IPR in India. Distinguished Guests included: • Sh. V. Saravana Kumar, IAS, Secretary, DST, Government of Rajasthan (Chief Guest) • Sh. Gaurav Joshi, Joint Director, MSME, Jaipur (GoI) (Guest of Honour) They emphasized the importance of patents and copyrights, the reimbursement schemes available for IPR-related expenses, and the significance of the IPR-TT Cells initiated across 100 selected institutions by DST and AICTE, Govt. of India.
