The celebration was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar and Provost, UEM Jaipur, along with Dr. B. S. Yadav, Director of Physical Education, Chief Hostel Warden, Head of the Department of Yoga and Programme Officer, NSS. The occasion also saw the participation of Prof. Dipta Mukherjee, Chief Proctor; Dr. Tapas Si, Associate Dean (Research); Dr. G. Uma Devi, Associate Dean (Engineering); and esteemed Heads of Departments, faculty members, and staff.
With the active participation of nearly 240 students, the programme unfolded with a disciplined parade, inspiring addresses, and vibrant cultural dance performances that reflected the spirit of unity, responsibility, and national pride.
Parade Competition Results:
• 1st Position: Pratap House – 1st Year Boys
• 2nd Position: Maharashtra House – 2nd Year Girls
• 3rd Position: Ambedkar House – 3rd Year Boys
The event was further enriched by powerful patriotic speeches and energetic performances by students. Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma and Dr. B. S. Yadav inspired the young minds to uphold constitutional values and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur celebrated Saraswati Puja on campus on 23rd January 2026 with deep devotion and spiritual fervour. The auspicious occasion brought together the entire university fraternity—faculty members, staff, and students—who participated wholeheartedly in the puja rituals, offered pushpanjali, and came together for bhog distribution, reflecting unity, reverence, and cultural harmony.
The traditional bhog included khichuri, beguni, alur dum, chutney, and papad, shared with warmth and enthusiasm by all present, adding to the spirit of togetherness that defined the celebration.
The event was seamlessly coordinated under the guidance of the Faculty Coordinators, Prof. Debajyoti Chatterjee and Prof. Sougata Banerjee, ensuring a meaningful and well-organised observance.
Through such celebrations, UEM Jaipur continues to uphold and cherish India’s rich cultural traditions while nurturing a balanced, inclusive, and harmonious academic environment.

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur was deeply honoured to felicitate two towering voices of Indian business thought and literature—R. Gopalakrishnan and Gurcharan Das—on a stage graced by the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal.
Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan, former Executive Director of Tata Sons and current Chairman of Castrol India, is also a celebrated author whose works, including The Case of the Bonsai Manager and When the Penny Drops: Learning What’s Not Taught, have inspired generations of leaders and professionals.
Sharing the stage was Mr. Gurcharan Das, former Managing Director of Procter & Gamble, and an eminent author known for seminal works such as India Unbound: From Independence to the Global Information Age and The Difficulty of Being Good: On the Subtle Art of Dharma.
The felicitation took place during the Business & Economy Literature Fest, organised in collaboration with News 9 and TV9. The occasion reflected UEM Jaipur’s commitment to bridging academia, leadership, and literature—celebrating ideas that shape economies, ethics, and the future of society.

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is proud to share that Dr. Gaurav Shrivastava, Associate Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, has been honoured with two remarkable recognitions at KashiCon 2025, the 2-Day International Conference held at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi on 22nd & 23rd November.
Dr. Gaurav Shrivastava was bestowed with the prestigious title of Sessional Chairperson for the scientific session on “Geriatric Sports Injuries & Rehabilitation.” The conference theme, “Assisting Technology: Empowering Aging,” served as a powerful platform for discussing technological advancements, innovative rehabilitation approaches, and evidence-based geriatric care. Students of the BPT Department, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, continued their advanced clinical training on Day 2 of the Khelo India University Games 2025 under the expert supervision of Dr. Imran Khan, State Physiotherapy Official.
Throughout the event, students engaged in hands-on sports physiotherapy practices including:
On-field injury management
Kinesio taping and manual therapy
Athlete screening and assessment
Sideline rehabilitation and recovery support
This immersive exposure provided:
Real-time insight into sports-specific injuries
Practical application of mobilization and taping techniques in high-intensity match scenarios
Direct interaction with national-level athletes, enhancing decision-making and treatment precision
By observing immediate treatment outcomes and responding to live match demands, our students strengthened their clinical confidence, sports rehabilitation skills, and understanding of evidence-based athlete care.
This valuable experiential learning, made possible through the leadership and guidance of Dr. Imran Khan, demonstrates UEM Jaipur’s commitment to preparing highly competent physiotherapy professionals capable of delivering excellence in competitive sports environments.
