Eligibility Criterion

Passed class 12 board exams from recognized board
Passed in IEMJEE exam/JEE Main/State level Engineering Entrance Exam
Must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 12 and Biology/Chemistry/Vocational subjects as another compulsory subject
45% marks in aggregate of these 3 compulsory subjects in class 12 board exams
Individual pass marks in all these 3 subjects in class 12 board exams
Good speaking skills to be judged during admission
Shall not have year gap of more than 2 years throughout career till engineering admissions (Sitting idle for a year or being engaged in a course leading to no degree or certificate would mean year gap of 1 year)

About the Department

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has faculty members with stellar academic background as well as industry exposure. They are also active researchers with continuous publication and research output to their credit. The teachers ensure that the students have a competitive spirit of mind so that tey can thrive towards excellence. They contribute to the research eco-system of the university by assisting and collaborating with the faculty members regularly. The department conducts one B. Tech Programme in Electronics & Communication Engineering and two post graduate program M.Tech. in Microelectronics & VLSI and M.tech in Communication Engineering.

The primary goal is to be a department that excels in teaching the fundamentals of the discipline to its students. Additionally, we want to become a leader in producing cutting-edge research as well. Going forward, we aim at achieving excellence in creating future leaders in the field of technology who drench their academic and technological pursuits in strong humanitarian values.

Laboratories

The department boasts of sophisticated Electronics and Communication Engineering Laboratories such as Microwave and Antenna, Communication Engineering, Advanced Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Microprocessor, Analog & Digital Electronics Laboratory. All of the laboratories are furnished with up to date state of the art instruments and tools. The department also has software like Matlab, Xilinx, HFSS etc for carrying out advanced level research work. The Department time to time conducts workshops and seminars on emerging technologies to encourage and motivate students.
