We are proud to share that the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, took an active part in the One Health Warrior – Youth Engagement Programme. The programme was jointly organised by the National One Health Mission, the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, and the Centre for Rural Development & Technology, IIT Delhi. The initiative aimed to raise awareness of how human, animal and environmental health are connected, and to encourage meaningful youth participation through two engaging phases. Phase I – One Health Slogan Writing Competition Students from various academic streams and years took part enthusiastically in the slogan writing competition on the theme “Neighbours Beyond Our Species: One Shared Health.” Through their creative work, they highlighted the importance of a sustainable ecosystem and our shared responsibility for the well-being of all living beings. Phase II – One Health Day Webinar & Live Quiz Competition The second phase was held on 3rd November 2026 and featured an insightful webinar and a national-level live quiz competition. Our nominated students showed strong knowledge and awareness of the One Health concept and reached the finalist stage among approximately 3,000 participants from across India. This achievement reflects our students’ enthusiasm, dedication and growing awareness of critical global health and sustainability challenges. UEM Motorsports: Driving Engineering Excellence Our student innovators design, build and race Go-Karts, ATVs, Formula cars and Electric Vehicles (EVs), turning classroom knowledge into real-world engineering. UEM Motorsports has also secured software sponsorships worth around ₹1 Crore from leading technology companies, including ANSYS, SolidWorks and PTC. This support opens up new opportunities for advanced design, simulation and automotive innovation. SICF: Innovating for a Sustainable Future The Center for Sustainable Innovations for Clean Future (SICF) is advancing research in microalgal carbon capture, phycoremediation and biochar-based solutions, contributing to environmental sustainability and cleaner technologies. The centre has also secured dedicated industry funding from Aum Scientific to support its mission of developing impactful, sustainable innovations. The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is proud to have hosted the 26th Rajasthan State Elite Women Boxing Championship 2026–27. The championship concluded on 1st November 2026 at the Rooftop Arena, UEM Jaipur. A Celebration of Women in Boxing The championship saw outstanding performances, determination and sportsmanship. A total of 40 medals were awarded across 10 weight categories, celebrating the strength and talent of women boxers from across Rajasthan. Gold for UEM Jaipur Our student Charu Yadav (ALW) won the GOLD MEDAL in the 54–57 kg category, bringing great pride to the university. With this win, she is among the gold medalists selected to represent Rajasthan at the upcoming National Games. About the Course The 12-week course offered an in-depth study of Indian diasporic fiction.
