On 3rd October, 2016 students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Kolkata - SPIE & OSA Student Chapter members participated in Student Lecture Series. 11 groups participated with 3 students per group and they gave #presentations on various classical as well as contemporary area like Wave Optics, Optical Fibre Technology, PV technology, LIGO, Li-fi technology, Quantum Computing, Graphene & Carbon Nanotubes, Non-destructive measurement techniques in #engineering, Photodetectors etc. The chief guest was Shyamal K. On 8th September, 2016, on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, RPA (Rajasthan Physiotherapy Association) organized an awareness program & walkathon across Jaipur in which BPT students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur participated. The students met the dignitaries in the profession who came from all over Rajasthan & National level. #Scholarships were awarded to students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata and University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur at the Science City Auditorium, on the basis of their marks in Class 12, engineering semesters and overall performance.
