Smart India Hackathon 2023 Internal Hackathon for selection of students to participate in the Smart India Hackathon was organized at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 26th September 2023. Students from all departments participated and top teams from software and hardware in the internal hackathon, have been selected to represent UEM Jaipur at regional level in the Smart India Hackathon. UMANG is an initiative run by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR in the University premises, in association with Rotary Club and Singer, to provide free sewing training to rural women across 5 different villages adopted by the University. The intent is that these women can setup their own establishments and earn their livelihood and also arrange the same for others. "Cloud Study Jam Workshop Day-2 | UEM JAIPUR" Following the successful commencement of Day 1, the Google Developer Students Club (GDSC), University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR orchestrated the "Cloud Study Jam Workshop Day-2" on the 17th of September, held in the basement auditorium. The event featured accomplished trainers, namely Subham Gourisaria, GDSC Lead of UEM Jaipur, and Cloud Facilitator Shipra Shriparn. During Day 2, participants actively engaged in hands-on lab exercises focused on Generative Al and Cloud Foundations. Remarkably, several students completed both pathways by successfully navigating through all the prescribed labs. Google Developer Students Club (GDSC), University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR organized "Cloud Study Jam Workshop" on 16th September at University campus, with trainers Subham Gourisaria, GDSC Lead of UEM Jaipur, and Cloud Facilitator Shipra Shriparn. In Day 1, the students were trained about Google Cloud platform, key terminologies and also performed hands on lab in Cloud. Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur in association with IIC, IQAC and ACM UEMJ Students' Chapter conducted a seminar on A Quantum Leap for Computing on 06.09.23 for all students of 1st year B.TECH CSE and AIML. The session was held by Mr Ashwin Saxena, CEO of CybraneX and PhD in Theoretical Physics. The main objective of the session was to make the attendees familiar with new and emerging technologies of Quantum. The seminar aimed to provide a comprehensive insight into the fascinating realm of quantum technologies, shedding light on its current state and future prospect. The presence of Prof. Dr Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Prof. Dr Mrinal Kanti Sarkar, HOD CSE Department made the event more motivating and successful. All students enjoyed the seminar very much and we hope that they will continue to explore more upon the topics every day.
