Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR in association with the Institution's Innovation Council (IC) conducted a workshop on WEBVR on 18th and 20th September, 2023 in the basement seminar hall for all students of 1st year B.TECH CSE and AIML. The session was taken by Mr. Divyansh Sachdev, Founder of E-Learning Provider, Shunya. The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive insight into the fascinating realm of VR. All students enjoyed the workshop, and we hope that they will continue to explore more upon the topics every day. Mr Rishabh Trivedi, IPS Officer enlightened aspirants at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR about career in Civil Services. The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur hosted a highly informative seminar on career opportunities in the civil services sector. The event witnessed the presence of eminent personalities, including Chief Guest Mr. Rishabh Trivedi, IPS and representatives from the prestigious Allen Ace Institute. The seminar, held in the sprawling campus of UEM Jaipur, aimed to guide and inspire students who aspire to join the esteemed civil services in India. It provided valuable insights into the preparation strategies and challenges faced by candidates seeking a career in this highly competitive field. Mr. Rishabh Trivedi, IPS, the Chief Guest, is a well-respected civil servant known for his dedication and contributions to the nation. He shared his personal experiences and success stories, motivating the students to pursue their dreams relentlessly. His insightful speech covered various aspects of the civil services examination, including the importance of a strong work ethic, time management, and perseverance. The seminar also featured interactive sessions where students had the opportunity to ask questions and seek guidance directly from Mr. Rishabh Trivedi. The representatives of Allen Ace Institute also provided an overview o the comprehensive coaching programs they offer and the success stories of their students who have achieved remarkable results in the civil services examinations. UEM Jaipur remains commited to provide holistic education and guidance for its students, which was also clearly evident through this seminar. It served as a significant platform for students to gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in the field of civil services, ultimately helping them take the first step towards achieving their dreams. Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Engineering & Management, (UEM), JAIPUR, has organised a "6 days PreIndustrial Electrical Training" from 10/09/2023 to 15/09/2023 for B.Tech 2nd year and 3rd year students of EE and ECE department of IEM, KOLKATA, where, students learned about the hands-on Training on:- Automation (4.0), Renewable Energy Generation (PV plant) and DC protection, AC protection system, Induction motor starter panel DOL and Star Delta, 11kV/433 volt stepdown transformer, PLC programming for substation, motor feeder panel, HMI/SCADA programing. They also learned about Single-phase House wiring, single-phase Energy meter connection, 2-way switch for Staircase lighting, Tube light connection, Ceiling Fan connection, MCB connection, switchboard connection, etc. This program was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean of UEM Jaipur, Professor Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar of UEM Jaipur and Professor Dr. Ankit Kumar Sharma, HOD of Electrical Engineering Department of UEM Jaipur. UEM Jaipur ACM Student Chapter conducted a Distinguished Speaker Program on Data Science for Beginners on 15th September, 2023 in the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR campus. The session was taken by Professor Dr. Santosh Kumar Balan, receiver of Global Teacher Award 2018, Corporate Leadership Best Young Researcher Award award in 2019, RSRI Best Young Researcher-Computer Division award in 2019, Corona Warrior Award 2020 and many more. He shared valuable insights into the world of data science like different logical techniques, advantages, disadvantages, and future prospects. Dr. Santosh Kumar Balan was welcomed by Prof. Dr. G Uma Devi, CSE department. This event was attended by more than 150 students, who were present in the program and enjoyed the program. The leading National level Technical Bonanza of the country - Connectech - which sees the highest number of participations in technical contests all across India came back to Sikar. It was organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur in Railway Community Hall, and challenged all the schools and its students to participate for winning the Champions' School Trophy on 15th September, 2023. It saw the participation of 1000+ school students from leading schools of Rajasthan, and also from other states. Empowering Engineers to Innovate and Build Tomorrow's World § on Engineers' Day. At the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 15th September, 2023, we celebrated Engineers Day with great enthusiasm. More than 300 students attended the event along with Dean, HODs, Event Coordinator Prof. Dipta Mukherjee and faculty members. The students were enlightened about the legendary profile of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and Dean sir emphasized on developing Professional Ethics.
