Few news releases between 5th to 7th March, 2020, regarding the biggest Inter-School Technical Competition - CONNECTECH (UEM Technical Bonanza) conducted by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur | Kolkata, amongst the top schools of Rajasthan on 4th March, 2020 at the Janupyog Bhagwan, Shastri Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Science students from top schools of Jaipur and other places of Rajasthan participated in this Technical Bonanza including Tagore Public School Jaipur, Bajoriya Sr. Sec. School, Govt. Sr. Sec. School Murlipura, Cambridge Court High School, Central Academy Public School Jaipur, Govt. Sr. Sec. School Panipech, Raj Shree School, Welham Public School, Pareek School, Bhawani Niketan School, Bhawani Niketan Girls School, Bhawani Niketan Boys School, Mayur Public Sr. Sec. School, Choudhry International Public School, New Usha Sr. Sec. School, Sengar Public School, Safiya Public School and many more....... Cambridge Court High School exhibited the best performance overall, and was awarded the CHAMPION SCHOOL AWARD for the year 2020. It will hold the Champion School Title for this year. The Runners-up School title was won by SSG Pareek Public School. Students competed in four events:- 1. NIRMANA - Science Model Competition - Classes 9 to 12 2. TECHART - Drawing Competition - Classes 8 to 12 3. PYTHAGORAS STAR - Maths and Physics Test - Classes 9 and 10 4. PYTHAGORAS PRO - Maths and Physics Test - Classes 11 and 12 Students securing First, Second and Third position for each event, were awarded with prize money, merit certificate and trophy. Participating students also received participation certificates. News in all leading newspapers of Rajasthan, that were released between 30th January, 2020 and 5th February, 2020 regarding the Rajasthan Inter-School Sports meet that was held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur between 28th to 30th January, 2020. Around 750 students from 46 schools from all across Rajasthan participated in the event. The whole event comprising of Kabaddi, Volleyball, Football and Badminton, was organized by the students of UEM Jaipur, under the leadership of the faculty members and sports director - Dr. B. S. 2-day hands-on workshop on Cupping Therapy and Rigid Taping Technique on 1st and 2nd March, 2020 at the University premises of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur organized by the School of Physiotherapy (BPT). The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Vishal Jain, Founder, Indian Academy of Manual Therapy. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur presents Cyclothon with the theme "Pedal for a Better Tomorrow" in association with Zee Rajasthan. The cause of the Cyclothon is "Save Earth". It's an initiative of the Green Earth club of UEM Jaipur. It will start from Jawahar Circle JLN Marg at 6:30 am on 1st March, 2020. ALL ARE INVITED to participate for a noble cause........

This Augmented Reality application designed by the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is a virtual measuring tape, which can measure and show the length and breadth of an object, measure the distance between two objects. It can be used in construction sites. The tape is not a physical object but is virtually augmented to the real world through the mobile application developed by the students. The students are Ayush Pallab Gupta and Kunal Saha, both 1st year B. Tech CSE students of UEM Jaipur, and they have developed this application under Sreyaskam Ghoshal, 2nd year, B.Tech CSE student of UEM Jaipur, who is now mentoring his 1st year juniors to build augmented reality and virtual reality applications in the AR-VR laboratory of the University. The new Augmented Reality application designed by Sreyaskam Ghoshal, 2nd year, B.Tech CSE student and Pragnapan Roy Dibya, 2nd yr B.Tech ECE student of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is an watch augmented to the real world, which can be used as a marketing application by different watch stores. By wearing a band with a QR code on your hand, through this application, you can see how the different designs of the different watches (along with the different possible watch band colors) look in your hand, to aid you purchase the right one. Students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, 2020 passing out batch are doing excellent in placements again. In 2019, passout students of UEM Jaipur achieved excellent placements of 123.22% (ratio of number of job offers to the number of students opting for placements).
