Participants were sensitized to the importance of maintaining physical fitness and mental resilience in addition to academic and professional development.
The session emphasized that yoga represents a holistic approach to well-being. Regular yoga practice can encourage physical flexibility, concentration, relaxation, self-discipline, and awareness of the body and mind.
Participants were encouraged to view yoga not merely as an exercise but as a healthy lifestyle practice that can contribute to overall personal development.
The programme also encouraged participants to make wellness a regular part of their everyday lives through consistency, discipline, and mindful practice.
Yoga Demonstration & Practice
A key component of the programme was the practical yoga demonstration and practice session.
Participants were guided through a series of yoga asanas and breathing techniques, with emphasis on correct posture, controlled movements, breathing, and concentration.
The practical session enabled participants to experience yoga directly and understand how simple practices can be incorporated into their daily routines. The demonstration was conducted in an engaging manner, encouraging participants to follow the various postures and breathing exercises with enthusiasm.
The session also highlighted the importance of regularity and discipline in yoga practice. Participants were encouraged to continue practicing suitable yoga exercises beyond the programme and make wellness an integral part of their everyday lives.
Students, faculty members, and staff came together for a shared wellness experience.
