WeathAR – Portable Weather Station powered by Augmented Reality

WeathAR is a Portable Weather Station powered by Augmented Reality developed by the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR.

The name WeathAR is chosen interestingly, as the project detects weather, and shows it via AR (Augmented Reality). When the mobile camera is placed over the project, opening an app, the current weather is shown on mobile screen using Augmented Reality.

It is a stand-alone weather station, which detects current weather using various sensors and sends the captured data via internet to the Mobile app.

Google’s weather is based on nearest weather station, but here, one can easily measure the local weather without relying on any other weather station.
