
University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur was honored to be invited to the prestigious Two-Day Workshop on the “National IP Yatra Program”, organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, held on March 28–29, 2025, at Hotel Shakun, Jaipur.
The workshop focused on “Intellectual Property Rights: Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Geographical Indications,” and brought together key stakeholders to foster awareness and understanding of IPR in India.

• Sh. Gaurav Joshi, Joint Director, MSME, Jaipur (GoI) (Guest of Honour)
They emphasized the importance of patents and copyrights, the reimbursement schemes available for IPR-related expenses, and the significance of the IPR-TT Cells initiated across 100 selected institutions by DST and AICTE, Govt. of India.

These sessions provided deep insights into IP enforcement, infringement consequences, filing procedures, and the strategic importance of patent protection in India’s innovation ecosystem.
Prof. Ankit Kumar Sharma (Asst. Prof.) and Dr. Govind Rai Goyal (Assoc. Prof., Electrical Engineering & Coordinator, IPR-TT Cell) represented UEM Jaipur, actively contributing to the knowledge-sharing and collaborative learning environment.
