The Pre-Conference Tutorial for IEMECON 2024
The Pre-Conference Tutorial for IEMECON 2024 was successfully held on 23rd October, featuring an insightful session titled “Exploring the Internet of Things (IoT) and Web of Things (WoT): Methodologies, Approaches, Applications, and Future Trends.” The tutorial was delivered by Mitra Tithi Dey, Assistant Professor and HOD of the Department of Computer Science at NNDC (University of Calcutta), and a research scholar at Jadavpur University.
During the session, Ms. Dey elaborated on Sensor Integration in the IoT architecture, offering an in-depth understanding of how IoT systems are structured. She further delved into real-world applications such as Smart Waste Management, along with other use cases like Smart Cities and Precision Agriculture. The talk sparked significant interest among participants, providing them with valuable insights into the future of IoT technologies.
