The leading National level Technical Bonanza of the country – Connectech – which sees the highest number of participations in technical contests all across India came back to Bihar this year.

The leading National level Technical Bonanza of the country – Connectech – which sees the highest number of participations in technical contests all across India came back to Bihar this year. It was organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur and challenged all the schools and its students to participate for winning the Champions’ School Trophy on 30th November, 2023.

It saw the participation of 1000+ school students from leading schools of Bihar, and also from other states. The programme consisted of National Inter-School competitions (listed with the winners list):-

Tech Art (Technical Drawing Competition):
1st prize winner – Shashwat Narayan, International School (ICSE)
2nd prize winner – Aparna, Christ Church Diocesan School
3rd prize winner – Sona Vashist, International School (ICSE)

Pythagoras Star (Maths Competition for class 9 and 10):
1st prize winner – Abhinav Raj, St. Michael’s High School
2nd prize winner – Anish Kumar, Blue Bells Academy Brd prize winner – Ashutosh Kumar Pandey, Christ Church Diocesan School

Pythagoras Pro (Maths Competition for class 11 and 12):
1st prize winner – Masood Shahid, St. Michael’s High School
2nd prize winner – Akshita Sinha, St. Michael’s High School
3rd prize winner – Wahib Khan, International School (CBSE)

Nirmana (Science Model Competition):
1st prize winner – Swastika Shree and Tanushree Verma, St. Michael’s
High School
2nd prize winner – Ishan Kumar and Navya Shrikirty, St. Michael’s High School
3rd prize winner – Aditya Malviya, Radiant International School

Curiosity (Quiz competition)
1st prize winner – Aniket Parihari, International School (ICSE)
2nd prize winner – Abhinav Anand, International School (ICSE)
Brd prize winner – Harshikesh Narayan Krishna, DAV Public School, BSEB

The Champion School Trophy was won by St. Michael’s High School.
The Runner-up Trophy was won by International School (ICSE).

Multiple Victories Across India: Several UEM Jaipur students, including Tejas Kharkar, Ashish Kumar Jha, Manmohan Singh, Himanshu Jangid, Mayank Sharma, Rajput Yashu, Divyansh Sachdev, and Mohit Raj, achieved significant wins in competitions held at NIT Srinagar, SLIET Punjab, RGIPT UP, and JECRC Jaipur. Campus Placement Success: The university proudly celebrates the placement of its final-year students at Metacube Software as IT Developers, with an impressive starting salary of ₹6.5 LPA. The recruited students include Soumen Pal, Anushree Agarwala, Avinash Kumar Mehta, Aman Sharma, Sourabh Chhipa, Debabrata Maity, Anurag Kumar, Swayam Khatter, Shanu Aaryan, and Gopendu Manna. Leadership in Event Management: Our students successfully volunteered in organizing a Teachers’ Award Program for school educators, further demonstrating their leadership and organizational skills.
