Cybersecurity Bootcamp by HackSec Club, Department of Computer Applications, UEM Jaipur
The Cyber Security Bootcamp marked a significant milestone as the first event organized by the newly-formed HackSec Club at UEM Jaipur. Established with the goal of fostering a community of cybersecurity enthusiasts.
The event began with a warm welcome from our students. The Honourable Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of cybersecurity and blockchain, and presented a memento to keynote speaker Mr. Rudra Pratap Singh from Techonquer Private Limited, a cybersecurity services provider and ed-tech start-up.
Mr. Singh led sessions on cybersecurity fundamentals, bug bounty, OSINT, and malware development, while also raising awareness about data breaches and cybercrime.
The event concluded with remarks from the Head of Department, Prof. Sayak Pramanik, and Prof. Gaurav Ganguly, stressing vigilance in cybersecurity. Special thanks were extended to the HackSec team and coordinators, Dr. Renu Jangra and Mr. Pabitra Mandal
