University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur successfully concluded the 2nd Connectech'2026, bringing together talented young minds from schools across Jaipur for an engaging celebration of technology, creativity, innovation, and talent. With participation from 40+ schools across various events, Connectech'2026 provided students with an exciting platform to showcase their abilities, compete, collaborate, and learn beyond the classroom. Winner School: Jamna Vidhyapeeth, Jaipur Runner-Up School: Jaipur Cambridge School The winning students were felicitated with certificates, mementos, and prize money, while participating teachers were also recognized with mementos for their valuable guidance and support. The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur organized Orientation Programme-2026 on August 19, 2026, for welcoming the new batch of students into the UEM Jaipur family
University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur successfully organized its Orientation Programme 2026 on 19th August 2026, warmly welcoming the newest members of the UEM Jaipur family. The programme introduced students to the University's academic ecosystem, leadership, faculty members, departments, support systems, and diverse opportunities available throughout their higher-education journey. Addressing the newly admitted students, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, extended a warm welcome and encouraged students to make the most of their university experience. He emphasized the importance of academic excellence, discipline, innovation, continuous learning, and active participation in academic and co-curricular activities. Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur, highlighted the importance of discipline, regularity, professional conduct, and responsible citizenship, emphasizing that university life is an important phase for developing leadership, ethical values, communication skills, and social responsibility. The orientation also featured valuable perspectives from distinguished professionals: Dr. Anil Jain – Head, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital Ms. Sangeeta Mehta – National Sales Head, India, Cambridge University Press & Assessment Mr. Yash Sharma – Human Resources Generalist, Mechlin Software Technology Pvt. Mr. Nipun Baid – Manager, Adani Cement Their interactions provided students with insights into industry expectations, professional opportunities, healthcare, publishing, human resources, corporate careers, and life beyond the classroom.
