Her mesmerising poems thrilled the audience. Her poems were saga of love and death driven with vivid imageries and radiant memories. Many of her poems were devoted to beautiful intricacies of nature.

Marking the weeklong series of events on the eve of International Women’s Day, Ms Mili Das, a renowned poet of West Bengal was the ‘Guest of Honour’ in University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur today. Her mesmerising poems thrilled the audience. Her poems were saga of love and death driven with vivid imageries and radiant memories. Many of her poems were devoted to beautiful intricacies of nature.
Her poems were enjoyed by the Faculty, students and participants. The event was then followed by Speech Competition and Poetry recitation wherein more than 50 students participated with great enthusiasm and delivered their speeches on Women Empowerment, Patriotism, Nature, Peace, and Harmony. The Auditorium echoed with the rhythmic clapping of the students. The Winners were given prizes and certificates.
The event was coordinated together by Department of English in association with NSS Unit, Dhanika (Women Cell, UEM JAIPUR) and The Speech Society, UEM JAIPUR.
