The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, marked a significant day for research and academic innovation as faculty members received Grant-in-Aid project cheques under the university’s research support initiative. The distribution ceremony took place at the university’s campus, with Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar distributing the cheques to the faculty members .
The Grant-in-Aid program, which seeks to bolster research and development across various departments, awarded funds to faculty members for their pioneering research proposals. The initiative encourages interdisciplinary research and aims to drive impactful outcomes in engineering, technology, and management domains.
Among the recipients were faculty members from the departments of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physiotherapy and Management. Their proposed projects span a diverse range of subjects, including artificial intelligence, sustainable energy solutions, smart city technologies, and business process optimization.
The UEM Jaipur’s Grant-in-Aid program is part of its long-term strategy to foster a culture of research, positioning the institution as a leader in higher education and technological advancements in India.
