Four final-year students from the ECE department at IEM Kolkata, Abhigyan Mondal, Mrinmoy Mondal, Saikat Das, and Debjit Roy, recently completed a one-month internship at University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Jaipur, where they contributed to ongoing projects. As part of their internship, they worked on developing a smart shoe for school children, designed to track their location and activity for enhanced safety, and on creating a virtual reality (VR) classroom, enabling interactive virtual environments for students and teachers. Their participation and innovative contributions have been highly commendable, showcasing the potential of young engineers in advancing educational technology.
