Abstract of the Talk: In the rapidly evolving landscape of Education 5.0, the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (Al) and personalized learning emerges as a transformative force with the potential to shape an inclusive society. This talk delved into the intricate relationship between Al and education, elucidating how Al-driven personalized learning can pave the way toward fostering inclusivity. As Education 5.0 emphasizes holistic development, it becomes crucial to accommodate diverse learning needs. Al, through its data-driven insights and adaptive algorithms, holds promise in tailoring educational content, pacing, and assessment to cater to individual learning styles, abilities, and preferences. This talk walked through the earning styles, abilities, and preferences. This talk walked through the multifaceted facets of Al’s role in provisioning personalized learning experiences, shedding light on the technological advancements and ethical considerations therein. Moreover, the talk navigated the challenges that surface, including potential biases in Al algorithms and the digital divide that might hinder equitable access. Summarizing the research performed in two European Union-funded projects,
“DiversAsia’ and ‘Al-TOP”, the talk also probed into the educator’s evolving role in this landscape, from content curator to learning facilitator.
The presence of Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur made the event more motivating and successful. All students enjoyed the seminar, and we hope that they will continue to explore more upon the topics every day.
