EVENT NAME: HackUEM 5.0

HackUEM 5.0 was conducted as a 12-hour in-person hackathon, offering participants an intense and immersive experience of solving real-world problems through technology. It provided a comprehensive platform for participants to brainstorm, design, and develop innovative solutions while gaining practical exposure to collaborative project building and rapid prototyping.

Event Structure:

Kickoff & Problem Statement Reveal

  • Introduction to HackUEM 5.0 and rules of the hackathon
  • Announcement of problem statements across multiple domains (Web Development, AI/ML, Blockchain, etc.)
  • Team registrations and idea pitching session
  • Mentorship interactions and brainstorming support

Hackathon Development Phase

  • 12-hour continuous coding and project development
  • Real-time mentoring and doubt resolution from experts
  • Mid-hack check-ins to track progress and guide teams
  • Final project submission before the deadline

Judging & Closing Ceremony

  • Presentation of solutions to the judging panel
  • Evaluation based on innovation, feasibility, and impact
  • Announcement of winners and prize distribution
  • Event concluded with group photos and appreciation for all participants

As a gesture of hospitality and to keep participants energized, refreshments and snacks were served throughout the hackathon, creating a lively and motivating environment for innovation.

Outcomes:

  • Over 360+ students participated, showcasing their skills and creativity by developing impactful solutions within 12 hours.
  • Participants gained hands-on experience in solving real-world problems and building deployable prototypes.

Students deepened their knowledge in Web Development, AI/ML, and Blockchain, applying concepts to practical use cases.

  • The hackathon fostered peer-to-peer learning, collaboration, and leadership skills, with teams working in a high-pressure, real-world environment.
  • Top projects were recognized and rewarded, motivating participants to continue exploring innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
  • The event strengthened the culture of hackathons and problem-solving at UEM Jaipur, encouraging students to participate in future national-level competitions.

2025

EVENT NAME: WEB 3 CARNIVAL JAIPUR

INTRODUCTION:

The Web3 Carnival Jaipur was a dynamic and highly engaging pre-hackathon event designed to equip participants with hands-on knowledge in blockchain technology, decentralized applications (dApps), and smart contract development. This event served as a precursor to AceHack 4.0 and aimed to enhance technical proficiency in Web3 technologies through a series of immersive workshops and interactive sessions.

OBJECTIVES

  • To provide a comprehensive understanding of Web3 technologies such as blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
  • To offer hands-on experience with Core DAO, Aptos, and EduChain.
  • To prepare participants for the upcoming AceHack 4.0 by strengthening their technical and problem-solving skills.
  • To create networking opportunities among students, developers, and industry experts.

EVENT STRUCTURE AND HIGHLIGHTS

The Web3 Carnival consisted of multiple expert-led workshops, hackathon-style sessions, and community networking opportunities. Key highlights of the event include:

1. Core DAO Workshop (March 17, 2025)

  • A deep dive into Core DAO’s blockchain infrastructure and its applications.
  • Practical guidance on developing decentralized applications (dApps).

2. Build on Aptos Bootcamp (March 18 – 19, 2025)

  • A two-day intensive bootcamp focused on creating dApps on the Aptos blockchain.
  • Competitive challenges designed to push the boundaries of innovation.

3. EduChain Build Station (March 20 – 21, 2025)

  • Hands-on experience with EduChain’s ecosystem.
  • Development and deployment of Web3 projects using EduChain tools.

Key Outcomes:

  • Skilled Workforce: The event successfully enhanced participants’ knowledge of blockchain technology, empowering them with essential Web3 development skills.
  • Competitive Spirit: With a massive 250,000 USDT EduChain bounty up for grabs, participants were highly motivated to build innovative solutions.
  • Networking & Collaboration: The event facilitated meaningful interactions between students, industry leaders, and mentors, fostering long-term collaborations.
  • Exclusive Perks & Rewards:
    • Top 20 performers in the Aptos Bootcamp and Top 30 in the EduChain Build Station received exclusive event merchandise.
    • All participants received certificates recognizing their efforts and learning achievements.

2024

EVENT NAME: ALGOMASTER CODING CONTEST

About the event:

The ALGOMASTER CODING CONTEST, organized by the ACM student chapter of the University of Engineering and Management Jaipur, in collaboration with IIC and Codesta Club, hosted a one day(23.02.2024) coding contest.The contest was held in the basement seminar hall and catered to all 2nd and 3rd -year B.TECH CSE and AIML students.

The contest was highly enjoyed by all the students. The session concluded with a valedictory session in the presence of Dean Academic Prof. (Dr.) Aniruddha Mukherjee, Head of CSE Department Prof. (Dr.) Mrinal Kanti Sarkar, Faculty Coordinators Prof. Sagarika Ghosh and Prof. Sourav Kumar, and faculty of the CSE Department
