The symposium, “Sustainable Technologies – The Way Forward,” brings
together experts, innovators, and policymakers to explore sustainable
development. Keynote addresses, panel discussions, and workshops will
focus on renewable energy, smart technologies, and resource-efficient
practices. This event fosters collaboration to accelerate the adoption
of sustainable solutions, enabling attendees to share insights,
network, and catalyze impactful change. It aims to inspire action
towards a sustainable future through innovative technologies for
resilient communities and environmental conservation.
Sustainable technology represents the future of innovation, balancing
progress with environmental stewardship. It emphasizes creating
solutions that meet present needs without compromising resources for
future generations. From renewable energy systems to eco-friendly
materials, these technologies reduce environmental impact and promote
circular economies. Advancements like green manufacturing, carbon
capture, and energy-efficient designs showcase how science can drive
sustainability. By integrating artificial intelligence and
biotechnology, we can optimize resource use, enhance conservation
efforts, and foster resilience to climate change. Sustainable
technology is not just a necessity but a pathway to a harmonious
coexistence of humanity and nature, ensuring a thriving planet for
all.
The key focus areas under the main theme:
- Innovations in Sustainable Technologies
- Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
- Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency

Green Computing, or green information technology (IT), refers to environmentally sustainable
computing. It is the study and practice of using computing resources efficiently by designing,
manufacturing, using, and disposing of computers, servers, and associated subsystems (such as
monitors, printers, storage devices, and networking and communication systems) with minimal or no
impact on the environment.
The goals of green computing are similar to green chemistry i.e. reduce the use of hazardous
materials, maximize energy efficiency during the product’s lifetime, the recyclability or
biodegradability of defunct products and factory waste.
