The Conference provides a unique opportunity for researchers and developers to share progress in sensor technologies, methods, applications, standardization and commercialization. Participants can exchange ideas and gain information on the sensors state of the art. The words sensors and transducers are widely used in association with measurement systems. A Sensor is a device that detects changes and events in a physical stimulus and provides a corresponding output signal that can be measured and/or recorded. Transducers are the devices that convert energy in one form into another form. Generally, the energy is in the form of a signal. Both a sensor and transducer are used to sense a change within the environment they are surrounded by or object they are attached to, but a sensor will give an output in the same format and a transducer will convert the measurement into an electrical signal.
The conference will be conducted in hybrid mode.
The conference is intended to raise awareness in the society about the recent trends of research and development in the area of Opto-Electronics with particular emphasis on communication engineering with its different kinds. This will encourage students to take up more projects in the relevant area so as to get more intellectual involvement in the said field.

Green Computing, or green information technology (IT), refers to environmentally sustainable computing. It is the study and practice of using computing resources efficiently by designing, manufacturing, using, and disposing of computers, servers, and associated subsystems (such as monitors, printers, storage devices, and networking and communication systems) with minimal or no impact on the environment.
The goals of green computing are similar to green chemistry i.e. reduce the use of hazardous materials, maximize energy efficiency during the product’s lifetime, the recyclability or biodegradability of defunct products and factory waste.
