Changes in Lockdown

The word LOCKDOWN has changed our lives. With the lockdown taking place all over the globe, it will not be an exaggeration to call it a global event. Considering the negative effects COVID brought us with, the lockdown has proved to bring us closer to our family, friends, and companions like never before. The role played by technology to keep in touch with everyone far and near, is simply an undeniable factor. Workers working in several sectors connecting with their work mates through technology, students attending classes through technology, children learning cooking lessons from parents back at home through technology…clearly it has turned into an inevitable part of our daily life. Keeping in mind the norms of COVID, connecting to friends and family has been eased out by maintaining social distance…thanks to technology all over again.

Technology was always there, but the realization of its existence has been felt and noticed by the mass population only during this period of time and this being the “new normal” we need more progress, research and innovation on this very ground. I hope we move ahead, with a dream of a better world, always connected, Globally.
