Hands-On Workshop on 3D- Printing Technology: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, with the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Student Branch Chapter, organized today on 27th July 2024, a hands-on workshop for second-year students. The focus of the workshop was on 3D printing technology, aimed at providing students with practical experience and knowledge in this cutting-edge field. The participation from students across various branches, including ECE, CSE, and CSE-AIML. The students were part of the PRODYOG team also, which fosters interdisciplinary learning and collaboration. The hands-on workshop was conducted by Prof. Sougata Banerjee , an expert in the field of 3D printing. Prof. Banerjee provided a comprehensive overview of 3D printing technology, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. It includes Introduction to 3D Printing, Designing for 3D Printing, Implementation of 3D Printing, and Hands-On Session . The participants gained a deeper understanding of 3D printing technology, from design to implementation. This experience is expected to inspire further interest and innovation in the field of 3D printing among the students. Dr. Imran Khan from the Department of Physiotherapy successfully completed a three-day workshop on sports psychology with the theme "Think Psychology of Peak Performance in Sports." The workshop, conducted from July 26th to 28th, 2024, was organized by the Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) in association with the Institute of Sports and Fitness Development (ISFD). Team TSS elaborated on TSS's contributions to public speaking and event management. We are very happy to state that Kreeti Technologies has established Elixir (programming language) laboratory at UEM JAIPUR. This is a step towards developing our students industry-ready for the most modern technology. Elixir is a functional, concurrent, high-level general-purpose programming language that runs on the BEAM virtual machine. It can be used for building distributed, fault-tolerant applications. We feel happy to inform all that UEM JAIPUR and Prof. Samrat Saha have been involved in our next industry projects from TruBoard Partners. The first project is on 132 kV Grid Substation design and specification, and the second one is on 132 kV substation earth grid design, both for the industry. Mr. Sudhakar Sundaray, Senior Vice-President, TruBoard Partners , M.Tech, IIT Delhi, visited the campus of UEM JAIPUR, along with his team of engineers and interacted with the students and teachers. They were very impressed with the type of Automation Projects, our students have been doing under the guidance of their teachers. Integration of core departments with AI and AR/VR, and the number of National Level Competitions our students are winning at the IITs and NITs, caught their attention. They did the discussion with our students and faculty members in the form of a seminar on "Renewable Energy - Technologies & Developments", and engaged with the students regarding the following:- 1. Renewable Energy (RE) generation and potential 2. Comparison on Indian and Worldwide RE data 3. RE projections by 2030 4. Hybrid of different RE technologies 5.
