Building Industry-Ready Civil Engineers! 🏗️ We are delighted to announce the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur (UEM Jaipur) and Younik Design Studios Pvt. Ltd. This is the first MoU of the Civil Engineering department, University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur, led by Prof. Sougata Banerjee. This event consisted of signing 2 MoUs at the same time. This collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening Industry–Academia Interaction and bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world professional practice. Through this collaboration, students will get opportunities to develop industry-oriented, job-ready skills through structured training and practical exposure in areas such as:🔹 AutoCAD🔹 SketchUp🔹 V-Ray🔹 Estimation & Costing🔹 Planning🔹 Site Execution Techniques🔹 Project-Based Learning🔹 Industry Workshops & Hands-on Training The initiative goes beyond classroom training. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2026 with immense pride, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of national responsibility. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, setting the tone for a day dedicated to the spirit of our nation. The occasion was graced by Mr. Debabrata Banerjee, Ex-Police Administration, West Bengal, as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur, and Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Dean of Academics, UEM Jaipur, as Guests of Honour. A grand parade featuring more than 400 students showcased discipline, unity, confidence, and the indomitable spirit of our young generation. Adding colour and emotion to the celebration, around 40 students presented a vibrant cultural programme featuring inspiring speeches, energetic dance performances, and a meaningful drama that highlighted the values of patriotism, unity, responsibility, character, and national service. UEM Jaipur extends special appreciation to Prof. Rajni for her dedicated efforts in conceptualising, coordinating, and preparing the students for the cultural presentations. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, through its National Service Scheme (NSS) and Yuva Bharat Unit, successfully organized a special live telecast of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's "Mann Ki Baat" programme on 2nd August 2026 under the theme "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat." The programme was conducted as part of an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, aimed at inspiring young citizens to contribute towards a healthier, responsible, and developed nation. The live broadcast highlighted the importance of a drug-free youth, emphasizing the crucial role of young people in nation-building by adopting healthy lifestyles, making responsible choices, and spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. Approximately 240 students enthusiastically participated in the programme, reflecting the strong commitment of the UEM Jaipur community towards social responsibility, youth empowerment, and national development.
