Honourable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee was the Chief Guest. Honourable Governor of West Bengal, Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi and Honourable Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Partha Chatterjee were also present in the event along with Prof. Dr. Ajoy Kumar Ray, Director, IIEST, Shibpur and Prof. Dr. Partha Pratim Chakraborty, Director, IIT Kharagpur. The event was visited by Prof. Dr. D. K. Banwet, Vice-Chancellor, UEM Kolkata and Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, Director, IEM along with 13 students of IEM and UEM.

The international speakers who were present at UEM Kolkata and addressed the audience are:- 1) Prof Toyohiko Yatagai, Director, CORE, Utsonomiya University, JAPAN 2) Prof Vasudevan Lakshminarayanan, Professor of Optometry (Vision Science), Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Systems Design Engineering, University of Waterloo, CANADA 3) Prof Motoharu Fujigaki, Professor, Human and Artificial Intelligence Systems, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Fukui, JAPAN 4) Prof Takeo Sasaki, Professor, Department of Chemistry, Tokyo University of Science, JAPAN 5) Prof Tigran Galstian, Professor, Department of Physics, Centre of d'optique, photoniqueet laser (COPL), University of Laval, Quebec, Canada There are several other delegates of International repute.

They offered business‎ to the budding engineers and job opportunities at their country for students of Bangladesh studying at IEM-UEM group. 1) Md Ali Ashfak, Managing Director,RM Systems 2) Shri Shyam Sunder Sikder, ICT Division, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Secretary  

Smt. Ishani Chatterjee, Curator of the museum addressed the participants followed by Documentary on Life & Discoveries of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose along with demonstration of the Instruments invented by the Great Indian Scientist. She demonstrated how the scientist was at least 60 years ahead of his contemporaries regarding concerned Scientific ideas.
