University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur Toastmasters Club successfully organized Speech Marathon in collaboration with Jaipur Toastmasters Club (JTC) on 25th January 2025. Our club mentors TM Lokendra and TM Kamlesh along with 13 other Toastmasters from Jaipur Toastmasters Club joined the meeting. We also hosted Mr. Rahul Doon, a guest and visitor to our club. The theme of the meeting was "Pahad hain, Chad Jao". There were 5 prepared speeches by TM Neeraj (JTC), TM Stuti (UEMJ), TM Krishnanshu (JTC), TM Radhika (UEMJ) TM Rohit (JTC) This was followed by 5 evaluation speeches delivered by TM Krishna(JTC), TM Sagnik(UEMJ), TM Palak(JTC), TM Abhishek(UEMJ) TM Kamlesh(JTC). There were the Aux Role Players: Timer TM Suman(UEMJ) Ah-counter TM Sanchari(UEMJ) Grammarian TM Fahim(JTC) Hark Master TM Shibagni(UEMJ). It was indeed a program full of energy and enthusiasm among the performers and the audience. The members exercised public speaking and collaborative learning in an unique way. The best performers were elected through voting among the members. The members of UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club bagged 3 awards within the 4 categories. Best Aux Role Player TM Shibagni Best Evaluator TM Sagnik Best Table Topic Speaker TM Sagnik This hype of the event continued to an enchanting short trip to Samod which facilitated to maintain the strong bond among the members of both the clubs. The Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, in collaboration with IIC, IQAC, and ACM UEMJ Chapter, successfully organized a Coding Contest on 27th January 2025 in the Basement Seminar Hall for first-year students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, showcasing the dedication and technical skills of the students. Interactive Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at UEM Jaipur The Institution Innovation Council (IIC, UEM Jaipur) and the Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development Center (IIEDC, UEM Jaipur), in collaboration with MSME, Government of India, proudly organized an engaging Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across BBA, MBA, and B.Tech programs, who gained valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey. Many students were inspired to consider launching their own start-ups, and some took the opportunity to consult with resource persons regarding loan facilities available through banking institutions. This initiative reflects UEM Jaipur’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students, aligning with the university's vision of nurturing future leaders and changemakers. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has once again set a remarkable benchmark by becoming the first university in Rajasthan and among the first universities in India to commence academic classes for the 2026 admission batch at full strength. The new batch of students officially began their academic journey on 15th July 2026. The students received a warm welcome from UEM Jaipur's faculty members, distinguished government officials, and esteemed industry leaders, reflecting the university's strong commitment to academia-industry collaboration. Adding a unique technological touch to the induction, "Veda", the humanoid robot developed by UEM Jaipur students, along with other robots created at the university, greeted the freshers and assisted them in locating their classrooms and navigating the campus. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur successfully conducted the Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting for the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering on 6th July 2026 at the UEM Jaipur campus, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and industry-aligned education. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Prashant Ranjan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, who welcomed the distinguished Board members and faculty participants. The primary objective was to review and further strengthen the department's curriculum in line with emerging technologies, evolving industry requirements, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles. The University was privileged to receive valuable insights from eminent external academic experts: Prof. (Dr.) Tarun Varma, MNIT Jaipur Prof. (Dr.) Amit Mahesh Joshi, MNIT Jaipur Following comprehensive deliberations, the Board approved the proposed curriculum and appreciated the Department's academic framework for its strong alignment with current industry expectations, technological advancements, and future-ready learning outcomes.
