Students' mini project is a part of UEM JAIPUR curriculum every semester. This Ultra Sonic vision based radar system using ESP-32 with servo motor has been experimented by the students of Department of Computer Applications, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR under the supervision of Prof. Somen Nayak. Mr. Aastitva Sharma, Mr. Vaibhav Kumar and Mr. Himanshu Bhardwaj made this project. Military personnel use such system in remote place for surveillance.

It is a matter of pride and honour that Prof.(Dr) Mukesh Yadav, HOD, Department of Humanities, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR has been awarded with ‘Dynamic Professor of the Year Award’ by Asian Education Awards- 2023. He has been selected as the recipient of this award for his brilliance and cognisance, which has helped several young minds to achieve new milestones to embrace in the education sphere. He has been recognised as phenomenal personality who has left no stone unturned to invigorate prosperous goals and has devised methods to impart wisdom most efficiently. He received this award from Dr. KG Balakrishnan, Former Chief Justice of India, and Major General (Retd.) Sanjay Soi in the presence of Shri Shekhar Dutt, SM, IAS Retd., and other dignitaries. The event was held at Hotel Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka, Delhi on 30 April, 2023.

A group of 1st-year students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR developed a device for tracking the field employees. They called it GoFAS. The GoFAS is an IoT-enabled Geo-fencing based Biometric Attendance System. As seen in the video, when switched ON, it boots and checks for its various processes, one by one. After every successful booting, it gives a beep to ensure the process is okay. Next, the device consumes a short time to fetch details from the cloud through IoT. It displays the Task name, current date, time and GPS coordinate. The fingerprint sensor gets activated only when the user is within the fencing region. After the fingerprint is scanned, the device uploads the data to the cloud again. In this way, it monitors the attendance of the person time to time. This device is developed by: 1.
