The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is delighted to share that Prof. Nabanita Saha, Assistant Professor in the Department of English, has completed the NPTEL Online Certification and NPTEL Faculty Development Programme (FDP) course “The Fiction of Indian Diaspora,” conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.
About the Course
The 12-week course offered an in-depth study of Indian diasporic fiction. It explored key literary themes such as migration, displacement, identity, cultural negotiation, nostalgia and the complexities of belonging. It also gave valuable insights into how diasporic experiences are represented in Indian English literature.
