One of the induction events held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur was in collaboration with The Speech Society. The event commenced with a thought-provoking session by Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, HOD, Department of English and Humanities, who shared insightful reflections based on his personal experiences. Following this, the TSS team, led by Alok Agarwal (BTech CSE II Year) and Somen Halder (BTech CSE II Year), provided a comprehensive overview of the society’s objectives and functions. They discussed the various events and activities that the society offers, as well as the benefits of becoming a member. The event also featured a few public speaking events, in which students had the opportunity to practice their skills. The event also featured a series of engaging events orchestrated by the TSS team, showcasing the society’s commitment to fostering effective communication skills and public speaking prowess. As the event drew to a close, participants were acknowledged and celebrated through a prize distribution ceremony, acknowledging their active participation and accomplishments throughout the event. The anchoring was done by Ashmit Palit (BTech CSE II Year). The entire team of The Speech Society was appreciated for organizing such a wonderful event.
