Inauguration of United Nations Global Centre of Excellence at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR….
The Centre will operate with the following objectives:-
1. Facilitating interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange on sustainable development.
2. Promoting awareness and understanding of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) among students, faculty, and the wider community.
3. Engaging in capacity building initiatives to empower stakeholders to contribute effectively to the SDGs.
4. Fostering partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, businesses, and civil society to implement SDG-related projects and initiatives.
5. Serving as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy on global sustainability issues.
6. Supporting innovative solutions and technologies that contribute to SDG implementation.
7. Monitoring progress towards the SDGs and advocating for policy changes at local, national, and international levels.
