UEM Jaipur Hosts Workshop on “How to Think Like an Entrepreneur: From Idea to Action”
The Nexora Catalyst Club, School of Management, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, organised an engaging workshop on “How to Think Like an Entrepreneur: From Idea to Action” on 29th September 2026. 70+ students from diverse academic streams came together to explore what it takes to build an entrepreneurial mindset: spotting opportunities, thinking creatively, and turning bold ideas into real-world ventures. We were delighted to welcome Er. Rohit Sharma and Er. Yatharth Sharma, Directors & Co-Founders of Sunmaze Energy Solutions LLP, Jaipur, as our resource persons. Sharing lessons from their own entrepreneurial journeys, they spoke about innovation, strategic thinking, execution, and why taking that first step matters most. The workshop was coordinated by Prof. Rhythm Mukherjee, Coordinator, Nexora Catalyst Club, along with Prof. Risha Sharma and Prof. Rishita Das, Assistant Professors, School of Management, UEM Jaipur. The programme was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur, who felicitated the resource persons for their valuable contribution. UEM Jaipur Students Take the Pledge at Nasha Mukt Yuva – Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan
Students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur took part in the “Nasha Mukt Yuva – Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan”, held in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma. Joining youth from across the state, our students took a pledge against narcotics and substance abuse, committing themselves to a healthier, more responsible and drug-free society. The programme highlighted the role of young people in nation-building, with a focus on youth awareness, healthy lifestyles, employment opportunities and social responsibility. It inspired our students to become active contributors to India’s progress. Our students participated under the guidance of Dr. Imran Khan, Associate Head – Internships & Placements, School of Physiotherapy, and Dr. Aasifa Rashid Khan, Assistant Professor, UEM Jaipur. At UEM Jaipur, we believe education is about shaping responsible citizens, not just skilled professionals. The School of Physiotherapy at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, made its mark on the global stage at the World Physiotherapy Asia Western Pacific Regional Conference (WPAWP 2026), held on 26th–27th September 2026 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi. Our Associate Professors, Dr. Gaurav Shrivastava and Dr. Sapna Malla, represented UEM Jaipur as Sessional Chairpersons at this prestigious international scientific conference. Dr. Gaurav Shrivastava chaired a thought-provoking session by Dr. Richard Rose-Dale (New Zealand) titled “When Is an Extremity Problem Not an Extremity Problem? — Rethink Spinal–Extremity Differentiation.” The session examined advanced clinical reasoning and the link between spinal conditions and extremity symptoms, reinforcing the value of precise assessment and evidence-based physiotherapy. 🎖️ A Special HonourDr. Gaurav Shrivastava was also conferred the Significant Contribution Award under the IAP Excellence Awards, in recognition of his contributions to the academic and professional growth of physiotherapy in Rajasthan. 🌏 A Truly Global PlatformThe conference brought together 10,000+ physiotherapy professionals from 45 countries, including leading academicians, clinicians, researchers and global healthcare leaders. The event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta; Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Shri J. P. Nadda; Dr. Mike Landry, President, World Physiotherapy; Dr. Sanjiv Jha, President, Indian Association of Physiotherapists; and several eminent national and international dignitaries.
