UEM UNITY CRICKET CUP 2026Tournament ReportThe UEM Unity Cricket Cup 2026 was successfully organized as a vibrant inter-team sporting event, bringing together 12 teams and providing participants with an excellent platform to demonstrate their cricketing skills, teamwork, leadership, discipline, and competitive spirit.The tournament was conducted in a structured four-group format, with three teams in each group. The group-stage matches were followed by the semi-finals and the grand final, culminating in an exciting conclusion to the tournament.Participating TeamsGroup A B.Tech Lions C Super Kings Desert VibesGroup B UEM Faculty Team BCA Super Strikers Alpha Night RidersGroup C Dabang 11 Attendance Zero RavanGroup D Mighty Yorkers Sigma XI OG BoysTournament FormatThe tournament featured 12 group-stage matches, with each team playing two matches within its respective group. The top-performing teams advanced to the knockout stage, leading to two competitive semi-finals.Semi-Final Results & InaugurationFirst Semi-Final: UEM Faculty Team vs. Mighty Yorkers — Winner: UEM Faculty TeamThe first semi-final was formally inaugurated by Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean, Foreign Affairs, whose presence and encouragement added significance to the occasion.Second Semi-Final: B.Tech Lions vs. Dabang 11 — Winner: B.Tech LionsGrand FinalThe much-anticipated Grand Final was played between B.Tech Lions and the UEM Faculty Team.The final match was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, whose presence and encouragement motivated the participating teams and added prestige to the concluding match of the tournament.After a competitive encounter, B.Tech Lions emerged as the Champions, while the UEM Faculty Team secured the Runners-Up position.Champions – B.Tech LionsRunners-Up – UEM Faculty TeamA Celebration of Unity and SportsmanshipThe UEM Unity Cricket Cup 2026 was more than a cricket tournament; it was a celebration of teamwork, leadership, discipline, sportsmanship, and institutional unity. The event provided students and faculty members with an opportunity to come together, compete in a healthy sporting environment, and strengthen the spirit of camaraderie within the UEM community.Heartiest congratulations to B.Tech Lions for their outstanding achievement and to the UEM Faculty Team for their commendable performance. National Sports Day 2026 | A Tribute to Major Dhyan ChandThe National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Unit, UEM Jaipur, celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2026, paying a heartfelt tribute to the legendary hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand.More than 80 students enthusiastically participated in the celebration, which promoted the values of physical fitness, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.The programme commenced with students gathering at the Basketball Court, where a respectful tribute was paid to Major Dhyan Chand. This was followed by an inspiring speech by a student named Anshul Pathak highlighting his remarkable contribution to Indian sports and the importance of sports in the overall development of an individual.On this occasion, students also took a National Sports Day Pledge, reaffirming their commitment towards physical fitness, a healthy lifestyle, discipline and the true spirit of sportsmanship.As a tribute to the immense legacy and contribution of Major Dhyan Chand, three sporting matches were organised in his memory:Basketball MatchBadminton MatchFootball MatchAll three matches were played in the memory of Major Dhyan Chand, reflecting his inspiring legacy and his invaluable contribution to Indian sports. Building Industry-Ready Civil Engineers! 🏗️ We are delighted to announce the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur (UEM Jaipur) and Younik Design Studios Pvt. Ltd. This is the first MoU of the Civil Engineering department, University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur, led by Prof. Sougata Banerjee. This event consisted of signing 2 MoUs at the same time. This collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening Industry–Academia Interaction and bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world professional practice. Through this collaboration, students will get opportunities to develop industry-oriented, job-ready skills through structured training and practical exposure in areas such as:🔹 AutoCAD🔹 SketchUp🔹 V-Ray🔹 Estimation & Costing🔹 Planning🔹 Site Execution Techniques🔹 Project-Based Learning🔹 Industry Workshops & Hands-on Training The initiative goes beyond classroom training.
