UEM Jaipur participation in the ASSOCHAM_Rajasthan Renewable Energy Summit-2026 UEM Jaipur was cordially invited by ASSOCHAM State Development Council to be a part of the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Summit 2026 organized by ASSOCHAM and Govt. of Rajasthan. The event focussed on the theme “Powering Rajasthan through Clean Energy, Innovation & Vision 2030” and discussion on policy reforms, green finance, industrial infrastructure, and AI-driven innovation on 05th Aug 2026 at Hotel Lalit, Jaipur. The summit aimed in bringing together eminent policymakers, industry leaders, technology experts, and members of the renewable energy community for a day of knowledge sharing, policy deliberation, and professional engagement. The Summit was graced by the presence of: Sh. Heeralal Nagar, State Minister for Energy, Government of Rajasthan as Chief Guest Devendra Shringi, Chairman & Managing Director, RVUNL Navin Arora, Advisor - Energy, Government of Rajasthan Rajneesh Kumar, General Manager, State Bank of India Dr. Jyotirmay Mathur (BIS Chair Professor, MNIT Jaipur CA Himanshu Goyal, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Rajasthan State Council. Faculty members of UEM Jaipur, Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Gurnani, COE & HOD Mechanical Engineering & Prof. (Dr.) Rahul Sharma, HOD Department of MBA attended the session marking a significant occasion. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, through its National Service Scheme (NSS) and Yuva Bharat Unit, successfully organized a special live telecast of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's "Mann Ki Baat" programme on 2nd August 2026 under the theme "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat." The programme was conducted as part of an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, aimed at inspiring young citizens to contribute towards a healthier, responsible, and developed nation. The live broadcast highlighted the importance of a drug-free youth, emphasizing the crucial role of young people in nation-building by adopting healthy lifestyles, making responsible choices, and spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. Approximately 240 students enthusiastically participated in the programme, reflecting the strong commitment of the UEM Jaipur community towards social responsibility, youth empowerment, and national development. The event concluded with a collective pledge to support the vision of "Nasha Mukt Yuva" and "Viksit Bharat," reinforcing the University's commitment to creating socially responsible, aware, and empowered citizens. The new batch of students officially began their academic journey on 15th July 2026. The students received a warm welcome from UEM Jaipur's faculty members, distinguished government officials, and esteemed industry leaders, reflecting the university's strong commitment to academia-industry collaboration. Adding a unique technological touch to the induction, "Veda", the humanoid robot developed by UEM Jaipur students, along with other robots created at the university, greeted the freshers and assisted them in locating their classrooms and navigating the campus.
