IEM Innovation Lab students (ECE 3rd yrs & CSE 3rd yr) team has entered the Semi-Finals of the ‘DST and Texas Instruments India Innovation Challenge Contest 2017’. Our proposal was a Smart Helmet acting as a Bike Companion. Over 18000 participants(1831 teams) from 624 colleges all over India submitted their ideas to the contest. Among them 428 teams were shortlisted for the quarterfinals, out of which 55 teams qualified for the Semi-Finals which will be held on 15th and 22nd of April 2017. 1st International Conference on Electronics, Materials Engineering and Nano-Technology (IEEE-IEMENTech 2017) will be organized by Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, at Science City, Kolkata, West Bengal during April 28-29, 2017. The scientific deliberations in the form of invited talks and contributory papers will cover diversified topics on Electronics, Materials Engineering, Nano Science and Technology. Contributory papers presented in the technical sessions will be published in the IEEE Xplore.
