Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, in association with IIC, and ACM Student Chapter UEMJ, has organized a session on "Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs" for final year students. Session was taken by Prof. (Dr.) G. Uma Devi, UEM Jaipur. In this session, students got to learn about opportunities to protect innovations, avoid legal pitfalls and maximize profits, exposure to industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, financial support for growth and operations, and access to valuable networks and connections. This was successfully conducted, in the presence of Prof. Jyoti Khandelwal, and Prof. Hriday Banerjee. Special thanks to all the participants and event coordinators for making this event a grand success.        

The Codesta Coding Club, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR along with IIC and AMC Student Chapter UEMJ, hosted the " Transforming Ideas into Reality: Unleash the Power of Bubble" workshop at UEM Jaipur on 21st July 2023. It empowered B.Tech CSE & AIML students with valuable knowledge of Bubble for web app development without heavy coding. The event's success was attributed to dedicated organizers and expert instructor, Mr. Prarabdh Chaturvedi, Bubble expert. Participants appreciated the insightful experience, fostering innovation and skill development. The workshop was guided by Codesta President Yash Yadav, Vice President Aniket lain, Head of CSE Department Prof. Mrinal Kanti Sarkar, and Faculty Coordinators Prof. Iyoti Khandelwal and Prof. Iyoti Anand. 3rd Edition of Rajasthan Healthcare Conclave with "Focus on Creating Future Ready Healthcare Ecosystem and Promoting Medical Tourism" on 21 July 2023 at Hotel ITC Rajputana, Jaipur. Inaugural session of the All India Inter University Gatka Men and Women Tournament organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), hosted by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR with participants from all across the country - 20th July, 2023. The inaugural session of the All India Inter University Gatka Men and Women Tournament, held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on July 20, 2023. The event was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee. In his inaugural address, Prof. Chatterjee highlighted the importance of Gatka as a martial art and its rich cultural heritage. He said that Gatka is a symbol of Indian pride and that it is important to preserve and promote this tradition. He also congratulated the organizers of the tournament for their efforts in bringing together the best Gatka players from all over India. The opening remarks were delivered by the Registrar of the University, Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma. He welcomed the participants to the tournament and wished them all the best. He also expressed his gratitude to the organisers of the event. The guest speaker for the occasion was Principal Baljinder Singh Toor, General Secretary, Gatka Federation of India. He spoke about the history of Gatka and its importance in India’s Independence Movement. He also urged the participants to compete in the spirit of sportsmanship and to uphold the values of Gatka. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. B.S. Yadav, the Director of Physical Education and Sports at the University of Engineering and Management. He thanked the Vice Chancellor, the Registrar, the guest speaker, and the sponsors for their support. He also thanked the participants for their participation and wished them all the best in the tournament. The All India Inter University Gatka Men and Women Tournament is a prestigious event that showcases the best Gatka plavers from all over India. Prof. Neeraj Gupta, Professor, Department of Architecture, Central University of Rajasthan conducted a workshop on the “Attributes of a True Teacher” at Seminar Hall, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR on July, 07, 2023. The workshop was attended by over 50 teachers. He encouraged teachers stating teaching is a noble profession and to continue the process of learning and grow, and to always make all possible efforts for students progress. The session was conducted Professor Jyoti Khandelwal, UEM JAIPUR, highlighting the key parameters of a startup and emphasizing the importance of careful planning and strategic approaches for success and sustainability. The discussion covered various legal and ethical aspects, including selecting the right business structure, acquiring necessary licenses and permits, and implementing ethical practices. Valedictory Session of AICTE Approved 3 Days FDP on Universal Human Values held at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR. The Valedictory Session of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values was held at the University of Engineering and Management Jaipur on 15th July 2023. The session was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee. The session began by reading the report of the 3 Days FDP presented by Prof. (Dr) Mukesh Yadav, Local Program Coordinator. He said that the course had been very well-received by the faculty members which they have expressed time and again in the sharing sessions. He further requested faculty members to remain committed to their UH journey after observing positive changes and it should be reflected in their all walks of life. Few faculty members also shared their experiences, and learning during the FDP. Thereafter, the distinguished guests of NCCIP AICTE Team - Dr Navin Kumar Sharma (Resource Person), Dr Piyush Sharma ((Co-Facilitator), Dr VijayPal Singh (Observer) were felicitated by UEM Jaipur dignitaries. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee. He congratulated the faculty members on their participation in the FDP and said that he was confident that they would continue to promote universal human values in their teaching and research. He also said that each one of use should express brotherhood in our behavion. The Vote of Thanks was given by the Registrar, Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma. He thanked the Vice-Chancellor, the faculty members, and the organizers of the FDP for their successful completion of the course. He also said that the university would continue to organize such FDP in the future as well.
