IEM Innovation Lab students (ECE 3rd yrs & CSE 3rd yr) team has entered the Semi-Finals of the ‘DST and Texas Instruments India Innovation Challenge Contest 2017’. Our proposal was a Smart Helmet acting as a Bike Companion. Over 18000 participants(1831 teams) from 624 colleges all over India submitted their ideas to the contest. Among them 428 teams were shortlisted for the quarterfinals, out of which 55 teams qualified for the Semi-Finals which will be held on 15th and 22nd of April 2017. Step 3: You need to take a printout of this Hall ticket along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre on the chosen date of exam. Your Voter ID card / Aadhar Card / class 10 / 12 board exam admit card may serve as the valid ID proof. No Fee Required There is no exam fees associated with IEMJEE exam. Instruction to the students:- Rules and Regulations i) Students should reach the exam hall by 1:30 am on the chosen date of the exam (half an hour prior to the start of the exam). ii) Students are not permitted to leave the exam hall until at least 1 hour exam time has elapsed (other than in an emergency/medical situation) and may not leave in the last 10 minutes of the exam. iii) Students need to produce an identity card (example Voter ID, Adhar Card, Passprt, Driving License, Class 10/12 board exam admit card, school identity card etc.) iv) Mobile phones should remain switched off (not in silent mode) throughout the duration of the exam. v) All course material should be removed from desks and placed at the front of the hall. vi) Students should not ask for, and will not be given, any explanation of the questions and answers. vii) Students cannot communicate in any way with, ask for help from or give help to another student while they are in the exam hall Syllabus B.Tech:- Syllabus and mode of exam is absolutely same as that of JEE Main comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics divided in 3 sections. Each section will contain 30 questions each of 4 marks. So each section will contain 120 marks. Total marks will be 360. Time duration will be 3 hours. There will be 1 mark deduction from total marks for each wrong answer. B.Tech Lateral Entry:- Syllabus and mode of exam will be same as WB JELET. BCA/BBA/B.Sc/B.Com:- Syllabus will comprise of English, General Knowledge and Preliminary Mathematics. M.Tech:- Syllabus and mode of exam will be same as GATE. MCA/M.Sc:- Syllabus and mode of exam will be same as WB JECA. MBA:- Syllabus and mode of exam will be same as CAT Important Dates Online exam dates can be chosen between 30th March 2017 to 16th April 2017. Time: 2 pm to 5 pm Preparation tips B.Tech:- Students may prepare from sample question papers of JEE Main. Pattern of exam will be exactly like JEE Main.
