Distinguished Lecture Session by Prof. Saptarshi Basu, Director, Tiger Agro Food Processing Industries Pvt. Ltd. at UEM JAIPUR Prof. Saptarshi Basu visited the Innovation lab of UEM Jaipur today and interacted with Mr. Shopan Dey, Mr. Afaq Ahmed and Mr. Sougata Banerjee. He was very much impressed by the quality of the innovative projects and suggested few points for further improvements and connecting with industries. He also visited the UMANG Center and seen the training being imparted by the SINGER to all the trainees from the nearby villages.

UEM Jaipur International Medical Relief Camp (5th Day) A Total of 70 plus patients are treated successfully in IMR camp and provided them physiotherapy services at spectra quartz industry in Bagru, Jaipur. A total of 50 students of BPT 3rd year and final year were present with their faculty members. Dr. Gaurav Shrivastava, Associate Professor, UEM Jaipur and Dr.Vishnuraj, Assistant Professor. UEM Jaipur were present for treating the patients, supervision and assigning the role to students and also recieve the individual certificate of appreciation and momento on behalf of UEM University. Students learn a lot for treating and handling the patients with huge clinical exposure, and also interaction with international doctors with assistance...

Distinguished Lecture Session by Prof. Saptarshi Basu, Director, Tiger Agro Food Processing Industries Pvt. Ltd. at UEM JAIPUR Prof. Saptarshi Basu delivered a Lecture session today to all the faculty members of UEM Jaipur on Effective Teaching and Learning Style. The session began with the felicitation of the Distinguished Speaker, Prof. Saptarshi Basu, by Prof. (Dr) Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean, Academics, University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur. Prof. Saptarshi Basu discussed various strategies that can be used to enhance the learning process of students. The lecture emphasized that effective teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The first strategy Prof. Basu discussed was the importance of creating a positive classroom environment. Then he stressed that students learn best when they feel safe, comfortable, and valued in the classroom. This can be achieved by using positive reinforcement, encouraging students to participate, and creating a sense of community within the classroom. The second strategy was the use of active learning techniques. He emphasized that passive learning, where students sit and listen to lectures, is not effective in promoting retention and understanding of the material. Instead, students should be engaged in the learning process through activities such as group discussions, problem-solving exercises, and hands-on projects. The third strategy discussed was the importance of providing feedback. Feedback is a crucial component of the learning process as it helps students understand their strengths and weaknesses and provides guidance on how to improve. In addition, he said that most important thing for a teacher is to make teaching fun, enjoyable and desirable. He also shared many examples from his personal life. Altogether, it was an inspiring, enlightening and engaging session. The faculty members actively participated in the session and thoroughly enjoyed the session. UEM Jaipur Launches MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management Program in association with Shalby Limited with Shalby Academy as Training Partner. UEM Jaipur is excited to announce the launch of its MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management program in association with The Shalby Limited Ahmedabad with Shalby Hospitals as Training Partner. This program will provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the dynamic and rapidly evolving healthcare industry. The program has been officially launched today on March 25, 2023. The healthcare industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, and there is a high demand for skilled professionals who can manage healthcare facilities and organizations effectively. UEM Jaipur's MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management program has been designed to meet this demand by providing students with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management, healthcare operations, healthcare marketing, healthcare finance, healthcare laws and regulations, healthcare ethics, and healthcare quality management. First time in Rajasthan, such a course is being started in collaboration of a University and a hospital, so that equal theory and practical training can be imparted to the students, such that they are ready to provide proper administration services to the hospital, right from the day, they are recruited in the hospital. The program will be taught by experienced faculty members who have extensive experience in the healthcare industry. The curriculum has been developed in consultation with industry experts to ensure that students receive the most up-to-date and relevant knowledge and skills. UEM Jaipur is the only university in Rajasthan associated with one of the leading hospital chain of the country Shalby Hospitals for such kind of program. The good rankers in course will be recruited by Shalby Hospitals directly. Also there is a dire need of manpower trained in the Hospital & Healthcare Management in the different hospitals. So, all students pursuing the course will be recruited in good positions by the good hospitals. Students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR actively participated in two days RTI Summit at Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj & Gramin Vikas Sansthan, Jaipur (Rajasthan) on 25-26 March 2023. They had the opportunity to know and learn the whereabouts of Transparent, Sensible and Accountable legislative and Executive System in India. Students showed their enthusiasm and participatory role for better democratic and equitable Indian territory.

Event Name - Brainy Bones, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR. On 19th March- 2023, students of Physiotherapy Department has organized the Brainy Bones quiz event. The event was about gaining and sharing basic medical knowledge. The main objective of this event was to explore the limits of memory.
