Valedictory Session of AICTE Approved 3 Days FDP on Universal Human Values held at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR. The Valedictory Session of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values was held at the University of Engineering and Management Jaipur on 15th July 2023. The session was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee. The session began by reading the report of the 3 Days FDP presented by Prof. (Dr) Mukesh Yadav, Local Program Coordinator. He said that the course had been very well-received by the faculty members which they have expressed time and again in the sharing sessions. He further requested faculty members to remain committed to their UH journey after observing positive changes and it should be reflected in their all walks of life. Few faculty members also shared their experiences, and learning during the FDP. Thereafter, the distinguished guests of NCCIP AICTE Team - Dr Navin Kumar Sharma (Resource Person), Dr Piyush Sharma ((Co-Facilitator), Dr VijayPal Singh (Observer) were felicitated by UEM Jaipur dignitaries. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee. He congratulated the faculty members on their participation in the FDP and said that he was confident that they would continue to promote universal human values in their teaching and research. He also said that each one of use should express brotherhood in our behavion. The Vote of Thanks was given by the Registrar, Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma. He thanked the Vice-Chancellor, the faculty members, and the organizers of the FDP for their successful completion of the course. He also said that the university would continue to organize such FDP in the future as well. The Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was held over a period of three days. The program was conducted by a team of experts from AICTE. The Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was a valuable opportunity for faculty members to learn about the importance of universal human values and how to inculcate them in their students. Puranik, Ex-Senior Scientist, Physical & Material Chemistry Division, CSIR, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune; Mr. Saptarshi Basu, Additional Director Tiger Agro Processing Industries Pvt Ltd; Dr. Kushal Sharma, MNIT, Jaipur; Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean, Academics, UEM Jaipur. In his welcome address, Dr. Chatterjee highlighted the importance of universal human values in today's world. He said that universal human values are the foundation of a just and equitable society. He also said that the Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values would provide faculty members with the knowledge and skills they need to inculcate universal human values in their students. The session was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur, and Prof. Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean, Academics of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, in association with IIC, and ACM Student Chapter UEMJ, has organized a session on "Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs" for final year students. Session was taken by Prof. (Dr.) G. Uma Devi, UEM Jaipur. In this session, students got to learn about opportunities to protect innovations, avoid legal pitfalls and maximize profits, exposure to industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, financial support for growth and operations, and access to valuable networks and connections. This was successfully conducted, in the presence of Prof. Jyoti Khandelwal, and Prof. Hriday Banerjee.
