UNIQUENESS OF University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata/Jaipur AND Institute of Engineering & Management, Salt Lake, Kolkata 700091 ------------------------------------ During the lockdown period all over India due to COVID 19 pandemic our group of institutions have taken a lot of innovative initiatives to continue academic as well as students/ faculty development activities through the digital platform : 1. Online morning and afternoon meeting daily with all faculty through U tube live. 2. Digital Attendance of Faculty. 3. Online classes through zoom, Youtube live, every day as per routine. 4. Online Labs by virtual mode using Matlab, Hacker Rank - online coding platform. 5. Online lecture by corporate experts. 6. Online term and End sem exam. 7. Online FDP. 8. On line Admission through IEMJEE 9. Online Placement 10. 85 students of UEM K are qualified in GATE 2020 and scored high AIR.

Both IEM & UEM have Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). According to the MoU few actions that may be carried out are :- i) Joint Research Activities ii) Personnel exchange for purposes of study and research iii)Information exchange in fields of interest to academic personnel and students of IEM-UEM & UNLV iv) Academic personnel exchange for lectures, talks, symposiums, conversations and sharing of experiences. We request all our alumni members and current students to take benefits from these MoUs for higher studies etc. We are also inviting any kind of recommendation in the Director's office.
