Department of Physiotherapy, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR has organized this “International Conference on Advancements in Physiotherapy (ICAP2023)” on 26- 27 August 2023, at the University Campus. In this conference, many renowned Physiotherapists participated. There were 4 KEY-NOTE Speakers:- 1. Dr. Ali Irani (Guest of Honour), • HOD, Physiotherapy and Sports, Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. • Former Physiotherapist of Indian cricket World cup winning team from 1987-1997. • Extensive experience of working with Professional athletes at national and International level. 2. Dr. Seema Grover: • HOD, Physiotherapy, Apollo Hospital, Delhi • Certified Lymphedema Therapist 3. Dr. R. Harihara Prakash, A very renowned Physiotherapist • Professor & Principal KM Patel institute of Physiotherapy, Gujrat. 4. Dr. Akhoury Gourang Kumar Sinha, • Very Renowned and Senior Professor of Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab He is also a member of NAAC and UGC inspection Teams. And also there were 8 Eminent Speakers:- There were two Pre-Conference Hands On workshops also to enhance the skills of students by Dr Harpreet Singh Sachdeva and Dr Suryamani on 26th August, 2023. ICAP-2023, provided a remarkable platform for sharing recent trends in research, exchanging innovative ideas, and fostering collaborations in the field of Physiotherapy.

As one of the Induction Programs, Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, has organised an Pre-Industrial Training Laboratory visit for 1st year students, where students learnt the following things hands-on:- - Basic Electrical systems and Automation (4.0) - Renewable energy generation (PV plant) - DC protection, AC protection system - Induction motor starter panel - Single-phase House wiring, - Single-phase Energy meter coordination - Staircase lighting - Tube light connection - Ceiling Fan connection - MCB connection - Switchboard connection, etc. Training has been conducted for Batch-A2, C2 and B1 and for other batches will be conducted in pre-decided slots. Venue: 1. Pre-Industrial Training Laboratory opposite to library 2. 11 kV/ 433 Volt substation lab 3. Solar Power Lab UEM Jaipur.

Celebrating World Entrepreneurship Day with AAVISHKAR! UEM JAIPUR 20. On August 21st, Entrepreneurship Cell, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR successfully conducted an Entrepreneurship Outreach Program titled "AAVISHKAR: Molding Young Minds for Tomorrow." The event was held at Rajasthan Senior Secondary School, Shrimadhopur. The program's mission was to equip students with insights into entrepreneurship and the pivotal role played by an E-Cell. Through engaging activities, students delved into the world of startups, understanding how they can transform their ideas into practical solutions. A highlight of the event was the engaging "Startup Logo Challenge", where students identified logos of renowned startups like Facebook Meta, and Google. This activity not only injected fun and interactivity but also acquainted students with the impressive journeys of well-known companies that started as small ventures. The session primarily catered to 11th and 12th graders, a crucial phase where career paths are contemplated. By introducing them to the concept of entrepreneurship and the array of opportunities it offers, the program aimed to spark inspiration and encourage them to think beyond conventional career choices. This impactful event was only made possible through the generous support of Mr. Mahesh Kumar Jat and Prof. Ashutosh Gautam. The initiative undertaken by UEMJ through this Outreach Program aimed to plant the seeds of entrepreneurship among students, equipping them with essential skills and a forward-thinking mindset to embark on successful entrepreneurial ventures in the future.      

The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR is the first University of the country, whose students for 2024 to be passing out batch have started acquiring placements big way. Ms. Pragya Singh from the 2024 graduating batch, UEM JAIPUR, has been selected by DeCurtis International Pvt. Ltd. as Site Reliability Engineer for pre-placement offer, starting with internship, potentially leading to the offer with 5.6 LPA based on her performance during the internship period. Prior to this Mr. Kshitij Kr Verma, Mr. Devdeep Ghosh, Mr. Tarun Verma, Ms. Ishika Saraf, Mr. Rajat Dhanuka, and Mr. Subham Kumar Singh, all 2024 to be passing out batch of the UEM JAIPUR, have been selected at Kreeti Technologies as software developers with minimum CTC of Rs 6.3 lakhs per annum. Mr. Sahitya Roy, 2024 to be passing out batch UEM JAIPUR student has got 4 job offers from Dapps.co, Wednesday, Quillaudits, Now & Me, all with high packages. Mr. Abdul Rekib Khan, Ms. Gulnaaz Ali, and Ms. Shraddha Mukherjee from the 2024 graduating batch, UEM JAIPUR, have been selected by Technologics Pvt. Ltd for pre-placement offer, starting with internship, potentially leading to the offer, based on their performance during the internship period. 4 students of UEM JAIPUR final year - Aparna Roy, Swarnava Das, Anurag Chatterjee and Abhik Banerjee have been recruited with pre-placement offer, starting with internship and potentially turning into a job offer at Aaklan IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Anirban Kalsar from the 2024 graduating batch, UEM JAIPUR, has been selected by Indian School Finance Company (ISFC) for pre-placement offer, starting with internship, potentially leading to the offer, based on his performance during the internship period.

Students of UEM Jaipur can learn and experience the field of Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System, Digital Image Analysis, Global Navigation Satellite System and their applications under this ISRO - IIRS Outreach Programme on "Basic of RS, GIS and GNSS".
