Prof. Dr. Preeti Sharma, HOD, School of Management, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, was invited to Malaysia on behalf of University Technology MARA (UiTM), ESN Publications, and the ICMRD Organizing Committee, to serve as a Session Chair at the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research and Development (ICMRD) on 13th - 15th September 2023 in Malaysia. She also presented her Research on the topic Indian Mutual Fund Industry Struggling to Encourage the Retail Investors. The leading National level Technical Bonanza of the country - Connectech - which sees the highest number of participations in technical contests all across India came back to Sikar. It was organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur in Railway Community Hall, and challenged all the schools and its students to participate for winning the Champions' School Trophy on 15th September, 2023. It saw the participation of 1000+ school students from leading schools of Rajasthan, and also from other states. School of Management, University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur in association of IIC organized a seminar on “Accelerators/Incubation - Opportunities for Students & Faculties - Early Stage Entrepreneurs: Conversation of Local into Global, A session on Building your Entrepreneurial Brand on 22nd August, 2023. The seminar was arranged as an introduction to the world of entrepreneurship. The fundamental aim of the event was to acquaint students with the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship. Students gained insights into the cognitive approach and mentality of an entrepreneur. Various facets of entrepreneurship, such as scrutinizing risks, appraising alternative choices, and making resolute decisions, were explored in-depth throughout the session. #TopRankedUniversity #uemian #uem #UEMJaipur

B.Tech and M.tech students of CIVIL Engineering Department, University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur went for a site visit at SMS HOSPITAL Roof Top Truss Construction. We noted the following points: 1. It is a steel structure with Queen Truss design. 2. Roofs of two blocks (block A and block B) has been designed for the isolation ward. 3. Learning and understanding of the project plan. 4. The whole project has been planned using STAAD PRO and auto CAD software. 5. Poly foam is being used as the roof top cover with asbestos shed.

Seminar on Net Zero Buildings: The students were exposed to innovative concepts like Net Zero Buildings and Energy Efficiency in buildings. Bridge Loading Competitions using Popsicle Sticks: The students were given Popsicle and glue. They were shown a tutorial video. They made different types of bridges with Popsicle and glue.
