A 3 days horse riding club activities started today at UEM Jaipur campus for the students and staff families. On the first day around 85 members have taken the opportunity and enjoyed it a lot. Entrepreneurship Cell, University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur organized an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Outreach Program titled "AAVISHKAR: Molding Young Minds for Tomorrow" at Rajasthan Senior Secondary School, Shrimadhopur on December 12, 2023. The program's mission was to equip students with insights into entrepreneurship through engaging activity named "Startup Logo Challenge". This outreach program aimed to plant the seeds of entrepreneurship among students of 11th and 12th Class. This activity not only injected fun and interactivity but also acquainted students with the impressive journeys of well-known companies that started as small ventures. This impactful event was only made possible through the generous support of Mr. Mahesh Kumar Jat and Prof. Ashutosh Gautam.

School of Management, UEM Jaipur organized the “Sustainable Bazaar: Advertising Local Entrepreneurship”, on September 27th, 2023, at 10 AM, brought together 15 teams showcasing homemade food and handicrafts. Each team, comprising 2 to 4 members, exhibited unique offerings promoting sustainability. Five teams presented delectable cuisines, while the other five showcased intricate handicrafts. The event fostered community engagement and highlighted the importance of sustainable living. Participants enthusiastically sold their homemade products, ranging from organic snacks to eco-friendly artworks. As a part of the initiative of Ministry of Education, Innovation Cell (Government of India) - Institution's Innovation Council (MoE), University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur organized an Expert talk on "Process of Innovation Development & Technology Readiness Level” on 28th February 2024. The resources persons explained the process of the innovation development and its stages. Citing an example of final year project and keeping users in mind at every stage of process. Department of Computer Science Engineering in association with Institute Innovation Council (IIC), UEM Jaipur conducted a one day workshop on “Entrepreneurship Skill, Attitude and Behaviour Development” on 15th March, 2024. This workshop was conducted to encourage the students to take up Entrepreneurship and to make them aware of the required skills, attitude, and behaviour to have to be a successful future entrepreneur. Industrial Visit to HWP NPCIL Rawatbhata 05 April 2024 We are pleased to inform that 42 students from Core Engineering Departments (EE/CE/ME) visited the most prestigious Heavy Water Plant, Kota which is an integrated unit of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd Rawatbhata (NPCIL) under Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. About the Plant: Heavy Water Plant, Kota is located at a distance of 65 KM from Kota Railway Station under Rawatbhata Tehsil of Chittorgarh District in Rajasthan. It is adjacent to Rajasthan Atomic Power Plant (RAPP) & Rana Pratap Sagar Dam. The Plant is integrated with RAPP for its requirement of power and steam. It was commissioned in 1985. It is the first one based on H2S-H2O exchange process and has complete technology developed indigenously with the close interaction between Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and the Heavy Water Board. Heavy Water Plant, Kota was conceptualized, designed and engineered based on pilot plant study at BARC. It is an ISO-9001 (2015) & ISO-14001 (2015) certified organization. Safety performance record of HWP, Kota is one of the best among chemical industries and plant has received many prestigious awards from National Safety Council, Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Institute of Engineers, etc. Indigenously developed solar energy based steam generator has been installed and commissioned at HWP, Kota which is first of its kind application in India for process industry. The students could get an exposure of basic working principle of Rana Pratap Sagar Dam. On the way they also visited the Mukundra Hills National Park.
