Congratulations to all Family Members of UEM Jaipur CHANCELLORS AWARDS for Excellence in Teaching and CHANCELLORS AWARDS for Research & Publications were presented to teachers of University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Jaipur for their best performance in teaching and research publications in SCI, SCI(E), E-SCI, Scopus indexed Journals. Awards were also presented for publications of Patents and Books. The Physiotherapy Department at UEM Jaipur has successfully conducted a one-day workshop focused on Accredited Biomechanical Taping Practitioner (Dynamic Tape Part) - Foundations & Peripheral Joints. This workshop comes with international certification from Dynamic Tape PVT LTD Australia. The workshop was conducted by Dr Mohammad sidiq . Dr. Sidiq, is an accredited Tutor of Dynamic Taping, holding a PhD in Physiotherapy specializing in Pain Sciences. Dr. Sidiq currently serves as an Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor, as well as Research Leader of the Musculoskeletal Group and Member of the Ethics Committee at Galgotias University in Greater Noida, India. Additionally, he is the President and Founder of the Indian Clinical research Association. What SATISFIES you the MOST? When you can change the life of an individual. These rural women (63 till now) from different villages of Rajasthan wanted to do something to earn livelihood. We, at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR imparted free sewing training to them with the help of Rotary Club and Singer, and helped them establish a sewing outlet in their respective villages, where they can now sew the different requirements for the villagers, and earn. We were happy to know from them, while awarding them their final certificates, that they are now earning Rs 500/- to Rs 600/- per day, through their outlets, after getting this free training. You may read this small but very interesting discussion, with the International Business Woman Ms. Veronica Thavonat, a universal coach changing traditional businesses to structured business models through emerging technologies, and having her offices in Germany, Spain, Argentina, Austria, and now expanding to India. She had come to our UEM JAIPUR as a speaker in our AIMBIG International conference. She told that she was not happy with the fact that she (as a non-Indian) is not allowed to open a bank account in India. But she also praised the way, she can get service providers so easily in India, and everyone is ready to do the job she demands, unlike other countries. There were two simple answers - that India has a history that a company had come to our country to sell spices, later they sell cotton, silk, tea, and then eventually starts governing our entire country. With such an experience, it is very difficult for our country to relax the rules. Secondly, India is a country full of amazing people, who can get any job done any day any time, just by "Jugaar". Now this "Jugaar" is a term, which has been officially been recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary as a noun meaning "a flexible approach to solve a problem, that uses limited resources in an innovative way". We staying in India, doing a business in IT, given a construction job in Dubai, of which we have no idea, still we can accept the job easily with full confidence that, by the time, the job is officially allocated to us, we will definitely find a way or the resources (limited) to get the job done.
